POV: 3rd person
Timeline: Present

TW: Violence, panic attacks, literally one swear, Remus being Remus (although mild), crying, feeling useless, bad fighting scenes, terrible sketch

Poor Virgil was stuck in the middle of a fight between the four different people with obvious difficult pasts he could have cared less about. Well okay, that was a little mean of him, he admits, but why in the world would a sane person wrap a poor innocent and anxious person into THIS mess.

He found himself eventually walking with them as they arrived to their specific destination. He decided that he would be the one to stop them if things get out of the hand, though he was starting to doubt that he could do that as they got nearer and nearer to the park where they would fight. Virgil's body was shaking as he tried to calm down and use all of the breathing techniques he could remember.

Pat meanwhile, had been worriedly watching the scene. When he saw Virgil becoming really anxious, he didn't hesitate to make a move. He saw the same dark purple strings that surrounded the fragile soul and pulled it towards him. Immediately, he was the strings color transfer to him, something he didn't notice before, as he absorbed it, his blank eyes glowing to a dark purple shape. The strings turned to a shade of grey as Pat returned the strings to its respective soul. The strings, once returned, had its color again, though lighter than normal.

(Really bad sketch but I hope this helps)

He started feeling again, yet it felt distant.

Virgil froze. There it was again, the odd feeling of emptiness, a wave of cold and numb covering his body. Which could only mean one thing, Pat did it again. He turned to Pat, looking at him with a concerned yet shock look on his face. Virgil always seems unsettled when the ghost does this. He makes it seem like he'd rather be the one to suffer the consequences than the one who did it. Virgil took a deep breath, trying to calm the cold and numb feeling dwelling in his body.

"We're here," Logan announced. Immediately, the aura changed to a deadly one. Virgil couldn't help but shiver at the apparent sudden change in temperature. Pat stood there shaking cause of Virgil's anxiety as he sorts of fuels it more as he watches the scene unfold, making him feel sort of.......useless.

"W-wait a m-m-minute guys, maybe t-this isn't a g-good ide-" "RAAGH!" Remus said, interrupting Virgil, running towards Roman, swinging his morning star like there's no tomorrow. Roman readied himself as he did a fighting stance. The morning star clashed into the sword, making a sickening sound.
