POV: Patton Picani
Timeline: Past and PresentTW: congrats there absolutely isn't any
"That's my name..."
My eyes felt weird, I couldn't see anything. Cathy and Virgil were talking, but I couldn't hear it at all. All I could hear was static, and footsteps?
I hear a door open.
Distant memories seem to be flooding in.
Slowly, I'm recovering my memories.

"Pan!" I called out, dropping my things and running towards my blind brother, who was sitting. I jumped onto his lap and he smiled.
"Heya Patton. How was school?" He said looking down at me with his closed eyes. "It was amazing! I got a golden star from my teacher!" I beamed. He chuckled, "That sounds amazing. Is Emile home?"
"Nuh uh. He said he still has homework to do." I said. "I see. Hm, I hope he comes home early," He nods. "Is the little buddy home?" Michael asked from the kitchen.
"Michael!" I yelled as I ran towards him, tackling him into a hug. Michael laughed, "Good day at school?"
I nod, showing him my golden star. He gasped, "Oh my gosh, a golden star?! This deserves a festive meal!" He grinned. I smiled brightly, pleased that we have a celebration for my award.
"What will you cook?" Pan said, walking over to Michael. Michael smiled and kissed him on the cheeks. "I'm cooking your favorite. As well as little buddy's favorite here."
"Yay!" I smiled. I was gonna have chicken nuggets today! I'm so excited! Pan giggled, "Aw, thanks Mike," he smiled. Michael grinned, "Of course. Anything for you love." "You don't need to call me love," Pan said, smiling. "I absolutely need to," Michael replied calmly.
"When is dinner?" I asked them. "In a while, for now you should go play woth Cathy. She's probably awake by now," Michael smiled at me. I smile back, "Okay, I'm going upstairs! Bye Michael! Bye Pan!"
I ran upstairs and into the room I share with Cathy. I opened the door and saw Cathy on her desk. "Hey sis!" I smile at her. She closed her book and turned to look at me. "Hey Pat," She said. I walked towards her and showed her my gold star.
"Wow, is that a gold star? I knew you had it in ya," Cathy smirked. I nodded happily, everyone is so proud of me! "Hey sis, can we play a game?" I ask her. She turned to stare at my eyes, her eyes glinting with determination.
"Of course I will."
"Pat, wake up."
