(C/N) was having one of her most pleasant dreams again, it was one of those dreams that you didn't want to leave.

*beep beep beep*

She opened her eyes quickly, the room looked blurry and she felt like she needed more sleep. Her (E/C) eyes darted around the room trying to gain some semblance of balance, she rubbed her eyes and sat up in bed turning the alarm off that kept beeping relentlessly.

It was the early hour and school would not wait for her to gain back her appearance slowly, with hesitation (C/N) slowly pulled the comfy covers off of her while sliding her legs off the side of the bed.

*knock knock*

"Come in..." she groaned not especially wanting any visitor at this early hour.

The door opened to reveal her grandmother smiling brightly at her, her warm and soft-aged face being the one bright thing of the morning.

"Good your up, breakfast is ready." The old woman said gently entwining her hands together.

(C/N) smiled as she could never be mean to her grandmother (especially when she smiled) because that would be unproductive.

With the best smile (C/N) could muster before she was even awake she told her grandmother, "Thank you, I'll be down in a minute."

"I know it's hard changing schools, I wish we didn't have to move so often." Her grandmother told her in a sweet voice but also it had a hint of guilt.

(C/N) sighed as she looked at her grandmother's sad face, "it's ok...we couldn't help it. I'll be down in a minute."

"Thank you for being so understanding, be ready in ten minutes." The grandmother said with a smile on her face this time, she then closed the door gently as her shoes were heard walking down the hallway.

The (H/C) girl got up slowly from her inviting bed, she put her feet on the wooden floor of the house and stood up to stretch.

She walked out the door and to the bathroom at the end of the big hall, she stood in front of the mirror yawning her morning breath lingering in the air.

She reached in her drawer and grabbed her comb, she took out her braids while gently combing her (H/C) colored locks. Once her hair was smooth enough, she put the comb back and brushed her teeth.

When she was a tiny baby, her mum and dad got into a brutal accident with a drunk driver. She never knew her mom or her dad because they both died in the accident, however, she knew her grandma and grandpa. She was especially closest to her grandmother, her grandpa was extremely critical and he was hard to get along with.

After she had fully done her morning twilit, she walked into her bedroom and grabbed her school clothes that laid gently on her chair.

A red skirt, white blouse, red jacket, black socks with brown colored shoes. Her hair was tied into a neat back braid, she put a bow in the back of her hair.

Before rushing downstairs to eat breakfast and stuffing her face with her grandma's delicious cooking, she made sure her attire was all neat and presentable.

When (C/N) was satisfied, she opened her blinds and made her bed making sure the comforter was all smooth from the wrinkles that popped up, then when it fit her satisfaction she grabbed her book bag and ran downstairs.

"(C/N) Walk not run." Her grandmother shouted from the kitchen.

(C/N) gave a small sigh and slowed her gate to a walk, she could hear her grandpa up and about downstairs.

"Why don't you ever teach that girl manners?" He asked displeased by his granddaughter's un lady-like behavior.

The grandmother whispered, "I am..be patient and eat your breakfast."

Once (C/N) reached the last step, she accidentally tripped making her land flat on her stomach. She groaned in pain as her elbow now hurt, her grandpa just sighed at her.

"Watch where you're going, it wouldn't have happened if you had been more careful." He scoffed.

The grandmother sighed at her husbands' behavior not approving at all,
"(C/N) are you ok?"

"Yea..." she said standing up while rubbing her now red elbow, "I've had worse."

"You are always so clumsy." The grandfather told her, which caused a frown on her once happy face.

The grandmother put her hands on her hips, "Steven go eat your breakfast in front of the tv this morning."

"But..." he started to say, however, the grandmother shook her head while giving him the eye.

He growled and went into the living room that was across the house, when he left the woman put a plate of sausage and eggs in front of (C/N).

She licked her lips as it smelled extremely delicious, all she needed was a glass of milk to make this morning even more enjoyable.

"Milk, I got it." The grandmother told her while getting the milk out of the fridge and pouring it in the glass that was from the covert.

(C/N) watched as the glass came sliding towards her, she eagerly picked up her fork and dived into the food that was in front of her.

"Nervous?" Her grandmother asked with a soft smile spreading across her lips.

(C/N) shook her head, this was gonna be like any other school day or so she thought.

"Oh, Nana school is school." (C/N) shrugged as she gulped down her last ounce of milk that undoubtedly placed a milk mustache across her lips.

The grandmother chuckled to herself and handed her a cloth which (C/N) gladly accepted and whipped her mouth clean, once she threw it away it was time for her to leave. She had to take her bike to the station, not like her last school.

"Do you have everything? Your bike lock, school books, pencils, pens?"  The grandmother asked reaching for the bag that (C/N) dropped after tripping.

"Yes Nana, I'll be back later. Love you." She told the old woman while kissing her on her wrinkly cheek, the grandmother kissed back and walked the girl to the door.

(C/N) opened it smelling the nice fresh air that wafted into the home, then she stepped out and walked down the driveway grabbing her bike handles.

She looked back to see her grandmother waving to her, she waved back and climbed on the bike.

With one swift push, she rode off the path and towards the train station.
