"Yes, it's me." (C/N) spoke with disdain as she glared at Edmund, the rest she thought had changed a lot. Susan was exceptionally beautiful, little did (C/N) know the raven-haired girl was looking at her in the same way.

Peter was the first one to break the short silence that surrounded the cave, "You've changed quite a lot, you used to be nerdier looking."

Susan jammed her elbow in Peter's rib cage making the young boy wince and jump to the side rubbing his sore spot, (C/N) laughed a little amused.

"What..my brother means is that you've grown so much, hasn't she Edmund?" Susan asked him raising a brow.

She knew of the bullying he gave to (C/N) she would always scold him for it making him feel worse about his inappropriate behavior, however, after he came back from Narnia...he confided in Susan how much he liked the girl. If only (C/N) knew this, however, she wasn't there so how could she?

"She looks amazing." Edmund beamed, the last hence of puppy love was growing into a full bloom romance for the boy that once called her toad face.

To him, she looked amazing. Even in school, she looked amazing, however, he was angry that his dad wasn't there and it made him feel better to hurt someone he cared about. Now looking back, it may have felt great at the moment but standing here now it came back to haunt him. That and the white witch, he will never forget it and will always feel responsible for betraying those around him.

"Oh please, how do I know you're not saying that to lure me back in..you'll find something that's not perfect and make fun of that!" (C/N) yelled at the boy, he jumped because being in a cave everything echos.

The little brown-haired girl that didn't say anything yet, came forward to (C/N) slowly.

"I'm Lucy, I don't know if you remember me?" She asked (C/N) holding out her hand to shake, (C/N smiled while shaking it.

"Of course, I remember you, you were always a grade behind me." (C/N) smiled at the little girl who was growing up so fast.

"So how did she get here? I mean, she isn't exactly monarch?" Edmund asked Susan and Peter, everyone was wondering the same thing.

"Monarchs??" (C/N) asked confused at this sudden piece of information.

Lucy who was still standing in front of the girl smirked, (C/N) bent down to her level.

"This place is called Narnia, last year we entered here and had an adventure that you'll hear about as we go along. However, in the end, we became Kings and Queens. That's what they're wondering, why did you come if you weren't here before. I know why." Lucy whispered with a grin resting on her childlike face.

(C/N) was all too shocked and confused but she asked anyway, "why?"

"Aslan wants you here for some reason." Lucy chuckled at her last sentence with a proud and happy facial expression.

"What's Narnia? Who's Aslan? You people are royalty?!?" (C/N) practical blurted out, she had all types of questions and couldn't decide which one to ask next.

The three siblings all turned around to look at her and then the youngest of their kin, Lucy just stood their arms crossed.

"What?? She has to find out sooner or later." The youngest one shrugged while giving the others an unamused look, then they looked at (C/N)

"Ok, sit down. We've got a lot of explaining to do." Peter sighed and sat down in the sand, the rest of them followed forming a circle. (C/N) was next to Susan and Lucy, if she had to sit next to Edmund she'd throw up.

Peter looked at all of them before clearing his throat, then he started to talk.

"Once upon a time, there were four children..."

After an hour of telling story's that seemed to be too fairytale-like to be true, however, they told it like they were there in person and experienced these things.

It wasn't that (C/N) didn't believe, she was in the middle of shock and acceptance. She was neither denying nor believing anything, all she wanted to do was go and get this over with. She mainly didn't want to be with Edmund, the pevensies were clear that you can't leave until the job gets done.

"Where do we start?" (C/N) asked the group of siblings who seemed to be as lost as her.

"Let's get out of this cave and look around," Susan suggested with a smile hinted on her face, everyone agreed that was the best plan.

(C/N) stood up from her ground position at the same time as the others did, then they all started walking out of the cave.

The beach was gorgeous, with white sand and clear blue water. Seagulls and cliffs to explore, big rocks spontaneously planted on the beach.

(C/N) looked at Edmund as he looked hungrily at the water, we were very close to it.

Peter who was eyeing his little brother suddenly and playfully pushed Edmund into the ocean. However the boy grabbed (C/N) and caused her to fall in with him, they both got wet. Peter just laughed while the girls gasped, however, Lucy started giggling but Susan ran in to help the soaked girl.

(C/N) felt two arms around her pull her up, she coughed out water and shivered. Edmund looked over as he was already standing up, he felt bad. He didn't mean to grab her, it was just a reaction.

Once (C/N) was done coughing she glared at Edmund, he just gulped knowing full well that he was in deep trouble.

"Edmund Pevensie! What was that for! I didn't want to get wet!!" (C/N) yelled at the top of her lungs.

"I didn't mean to, I swear!" He told her waving his hands at her, his face beat red from embarrassment.

(C/N) glared at him, she walked over in front of Edmund, he just stood there uneasy. He didn't know what she was planning to do or when she was going to do it.

(C/N) pushed him down in the water again, "I hate you Edmund Pevensie! Choke on water, you have a sea full of it!"

With that she walked away from the group, Susan followed her. (C/N) sat down and took off her jacket which was soaking wet. She rang it out as Susan sat next to her, the other three were playing in the water.

"You know, he does feel sorry." Susan mentioned while making hearts in the sand with her toes.

(C/N) didn't bother to look at her, she was right. Only, how could (C/N) forgive something like that? No, she couldn't, she wouldn't.

"You know he had a crush on you in the first year?" Susan mentioned looking at the girl next to her.

"Then why did he bully me? How do you even know all of this?" (C/N) asked getting up and hanging her sweater on the rock next to her.

Susan smiled a tad at old memories, "Because, he told me. Just..give him a chance, you won't regret it."

"Susan I don't know right now, it was so hard seeing the boy you like hurt you every day. It's not that simple." (C/N) said sitting back on the rock while hugging herself in a ball.

Susan wrapped an arm around her, "Just...don't let this opportunity go to waste. Are you ok by the way?"

"Yes, I'm just cold." She told her shivering.

Susan felt bad for the young girl, "Want to have my close instead?"

"No, I will dry off eventually." (C/N) half-smiled a little, she wasn't feeling very bright and optimistic.

At that moment the three children had stopped playing in the water, then they all came dashing up the sand with hopeless looks. When they all reached them, Peter was panting as he was out of breath.

"What's wrong Peter? Something touched your foot?" Susan joked, however, Peter didn't laugh like (C/N) and Lucy.

"Peter??" Susan asked becoming more serious this time.

Peter took one big gulp before answering his sister, "We may not be in Narnia after all."
