C/N peddled her bike across the cement sidewalk of the little England town she now lived in, she loved the smell of the morning air wafting her nose. It usually brought in a mixture of smells, bread, flowers, and her favorite pastries. However, that feeling didn't last long, because once she turned the corner of the marketplace, she landed at the dreary-looking train station that stood willingly in front of her. It looked way too spacious and if you asked her old, however, it was going to suit her purpose for right now.
She parked her bike in the rusty bike rack, slung her blue leather bag around her body, and reached in to grab her bike lock. She pulled it out and was about to tie the chain around the two metal objects but three big boys that were way older than her blew past and almost knocked her over. Unexpectedly C/N felt a hand grab her arm and pull her back from her falling position, she panted and fixed her shirt.
"Sorry about that, I have to go." An all too familiar voice spoke.
When she turned around to look at her hero, she saw the side of his face, she couldn't believe it. Was that Edmund Pevensie...the boy that...
Flashback
"Toad face." a black-haired boy laughed at a girl who was sitting in her seat doing absolutely nothing to anyone, just sitting there alone.
"Edmund...why do you do this?" C/N asked confused and on the verge of uncontrollable tears.
The blacked haired boy just grinned, a hit of pain hidden behind those luscious furrowed brows.
"Why don't you go back to the swamp where you belong," Edmund told the young girl who sat there broken-hearted, seeing she liked him.
For a first-grader, she thought he was really cute, just puppy love and so innocent. Often C/N was always writing little notes because she knew writing was easier than telling them, she however would throw those love notes away. Each day she would come to school hoping this day would be different than the next...however it never happened and her dreams always crumbled on the checkered floor of the school.
"Toad Face....toad face....."
Chanting...
end of flashback
C/N shook her head trying to fling that memory out of existence, no...Edmund Pevensie could not be trusted. So she picked up her bag and walked down the sidewalk, then she entered the dark stairs leading down to the station.
Once in C/N heard cheering and feet slapping agents on the tile floor of the train station, the noise was coming from the left tunnel. She still had about an hour to kill before school, so as usual C/N curiosity got the better of her.
She started walking at first taking her time to make sure she wanted to find out exactly what the noise was. However she found out her exact answer when two older students (most likely a year) brushed past her running at full speed towards her destination, so C/N started to run as well down the tunnel.
At the end of the long hall, students stood on the stairs overlooking something interesting. C/N walked over carefully and stood on her tiptoes to see what everyone was watching, however, she wished she didn't see it.
One boy agents three bigger boys were fighting relentlessly agents each other, surly no fair match was being fought here.
Suddenly someone blew past her, She gasped as she lost her balance and was pushed into another girl who only glared at her.
"Sorry." She mumbled stepping away from the cross girl.
She was about to go when she decided to turn around and see who had pushed her, when she did she saw the face of the boy she hated since first grade.
Edmund who was being pulled down on the ground looked up for a second, when he did their eyes locked. Edmund recognized her, his soft brown eyes looking straight into her E/C ones.
Her face immediately tightened up while he turned into a guilty look, he never got the chance to apologize but maybe know he would.
She backed up wanting not to confront him at all, she wanted to getaway. So she ran, ran until she found a safe corner to take a breather in.
"How dare he come back!" She thought.
Her fist tightened up into a tight ball, he knuckles grew white. She wanted to punch a wall, get all the pain that now filled inside her out.
After a few minutes of deep breathing, C/N grabbed her belongings and started to walk.
"So it is you?" Edmund asked from behind.
C/N stopped dead in her tracks, she slowly turned around as her jaw tightened.
"Yes..yes it is me. Here to taunt me again?" She spat at him angrily he'd even approach her.
He sighed and shook his head, "Believe it or not I've changed, I'm sorry for making fun of you in year one...I felt guilty all my life for doing it."
"See...the toothpaste can't be put back in the bottle..besides a boy like that never changes." She told him still as tight as a knot.
He frowned as he knew he probably deserved it but wanted so badly to be forgiven, "Can I make it up to you please?"
"Go away and never talk to me again, you left scars, and every time I look at you...I see the little boy torturing me." C/N spat on the verge of tears, however, she stopped them knowing he couldn't see her cry.
With that she walked away leaving him behind and not wanting to continue the conversation, she kept her eyes ahead.

C/N set her belongings on the side of the bench that was far away from Edmund, she remembered his siblings and they weren't bad at all...but Edmund. All she could remember was him taunting her and leaving her feeling helpless, her crying every day in her room.
She, however, had to shake that thought out of her head, it was way too depressing.
She sighed and laid her head back, she was just about to close her eyes when she felt something grasp her ankle. She gasped and immediately stood up, she looked under the bench but nothing was there.
When the confused girl looked under the wooden bench, there was nothing there leaving her even more confused than last time.
Could it be a ghost?
Then suddenly a train blew past her at full speed, papers and tile flew around in the air, what was odd was no one was paying attention.
You'd think people would panic right?
C/N grasped the bench and closed her eyes, when she did, she felt magic. This was way different than a normal train at full speed (even tho she has never been near a speeding train) this felt peaceful like a dream almost. Then everything stopped, the bench she was holding onto wasn't there. She could hear seagulls and ocean waves in the distance, the ground was soft too...
"sand?" She thought to herself.
She was afraid to open her eyes and find out what was there, however she had to. So she slowly opened them, she was in a cave on the beach. Then in the distance of the cave stood the four Pevensie's, she was shocked at this whole event that just went on.
"How.." she started to ask out loud.
Then they all turned around and looked at the source of the noise, Susan recognized the girl.
"C/N?"
