(C/N) was sweating by the time dusk came, she never understood how woman could stand such warm clothing in the summer. She would have stripped by now if Edmund, Peter, and the dwarf wasn't company.

"It's getting dark, we should make camp." Trumpkin mentioned looking at the orange and red sky.

(C/N) had never been camping before, she never really liked the idea of camping but she had no choice.

"Were will we sleep?" (C/N) asked making Trumpkin look at her with a look that told her she just asked the most stupidest question in history.

The dwarf looked around and then at the floor, "Ughh here.."

"But it's hard." (C/N) complained not happy with the arrangements.

Peter sighed as he was tired of walking, "Look...it's the only thing we have. If you don't want to sleep, you don't have to. However, you'll have a hard time tomorrow and I won't carry you."

"You can sleep on me." Edmund joked smirking devilishly at the girl.

She rolled her eyes at him and crossed her arms, "yeaaa, don't push it."

"Alright it settles it, we're camping here." Peter announced taking his sword off and placing it agents a stone. Peter clapped his hands and continued, "Edmund and (C/N), we need stones by the river which isn't too far from here, Lucy and Susan we need wood."

"Wait..why do I have to be paired up with Edmund?" (C/N) asked Peter who was sitting on a rock.

Peter shrugged, "Edmunds good at picking rocks, besides I don't want Lucy going near the water this late at night. Can you two just go?"

"Fine..." she grouched and walked over to the black haired boy.

Edmund smirked as he was happy about this plan, (C/N) wasnt amused. None the less the pair walked off and towards the river.

"Soooo...what do you like to eat?" Edmund asked the young girl who was fighting a branch that was in her way.

As she pushed it away from her face, she looked at Edmund confused. Then she walked past the branch only to have it hit her in the bottom, she fell forward. Edmund couldn't help but laugh a little, however he walked over and offered his hand.

"What?" (C/N) said trying not to laugh her self.

Edmund chuckled as his hand was still held out for her to take, "I'm offering assistance."

(C/N) groaned hesitating before grabbing his hand and standing up, she dusted off her skirt ignoring his gaze.

"So what do you like to eat?" Edmund asked again while staring at the girl.

She didn't look up at him, "Thats a random question."

"Well..there's nothing else to do but talk." Edmund shrugged as the pair started to walk towards the river.

(C/N) didn't want to talk really, she was tired and hungry. She wanted to sleep, however not on the floor.

Edmund frowned and saw that she wanted to just wanted to get the job done, "I get it, it's been a long day and your not used to this."

She smiled a tad, she picked up her skirt and made the way to the river.

When they reached it, Edmund started looking for rocks. (C/N) bent down and cupped her hands, it felt soothing. She wished she could take a dip, but instead splashed the water on her face.

She stood up and whipped her hands on her skirt, then she started collecting rocks.

Once they collected enough, it was time to head back to camp.

"Spaghetti." (C/N) said out of the blue making Edmund look at her confused.

"Huh?" He asked her.

She shrugged, "you wanted to know what I like to eat...I love spaghetti."

"Ohh, spaghetti is good especially with tons of cheese." Edmund added smiling  at her.

(C/N) nodded, cheese was a very yummy food.

"what's yours? I mean...what do you love to eat?" She asked as they reached the vicinity of the camp.

Edmund turned around and walked backwards, "Turkish delight."

(C/N) laughed and shook her head at him, he was adorable. He had changed, but (C/N) wasn't ready yet.

She walked over to Peter who began placing the rocks in a circle and gave him her collection. Then she found a spot and sat agents a rock, her feet were so sore she felt like they would fall off any minute.

"Walking is hard, especially if your not used to long distances." Susan told her as she sat down next to (C/N).

The (H/C) haired girl smiled and nodded, "I wish I had a good pair of sneakers."

"These dresses and shoes take a while to get used too." Susan told her making (C/N) feel a bit better of being a tad bit slow.

Susan wrapped a arm around her, (C/N) leaned into her friend, she was getting home sick now. Susan saw and noticed, that made the older girl pull her closer.

"I know, first time I was here...I was home sick. It became home after a while." Susan mentioned remembering the good old days.

(C/N) held back her tears as she thought about her grandparents, "My grandparents must be worried sick."

"No, they don't even know your gown. It will be like a minute had passed." Susan smiled tucking a piece of (C/N) (H/C) hair out of her face.

That piece of information made her feel a bit better, at that moment Peter had got the fire lit.

Edmund was handing out apples, Peter helped Trumpkin with the bear meat which was begging to fill the air with a delicious smell.

After dinner they all just sat by the warmness of fire, some of them were falling asleep. Susan and Lucy were chatting amongst themselves, (C/N) was having trouble sleeping.

When your used to sleeping on a soft bed, it's hard to get used to a bumpy rock and a hard ground.

(C/N) eventually gave up and sat with her eyes open, Edmund who was beside her realized she wasn't comfortable. He sat up and sat next to (C/N), he smiled at her.

"Lay on me." He told her patting his lap.

(C/N) looked at him eyes widening, "where will you sleep?"

"Agents the rock, I can sleep anywhere." He told her as he patted his lap again.

She hesitated but figured sleep was better then no sleep especially since they had to venture as far as they could tomorrow, she gently laid her head on his lap and curled up in a ball.

The fire was still going, it was nice and warm.

Edmund scooted down and leaned agents the rock, he then put his hand on her hip.

(C/N) was to tired to argue, her eyes began to close and her muscles began to relax.

"Are you comfy?" (C/N) asked Edmund who had already fallen asleep, she heard a small snore escape his lips.

She gave a small smile picturing the boy sleeping soundly, then she closed her eyes all the way and let everything turn black.

The last thing she remembered was thinking of how comfy Edmunds lap was, then she drifted off too sleep and into the dream world.
