(C/N) woke up to someone shaking her yet again, she opened her eyes slowly and looked around very disoriented for a few minutes. When she looked up and at the person shaking her, she saw it was Edmund.

"Not now Edmund." (C/N) whinnied as she rolled over on her other side.

Edmund laughed a little at the girl who was wanting more sleep, "Come on, we have training today."

"I didn't sign up for training..."

"No, but Peter thought it was necessary."

(C/N) sat up and rubbed her eyes, she wasn't at all happy. None the less, she was awake now and how early could it be?

"Edmund...it's still dark out." (C/N) pointed out as the two walked out of the How and over to the field for training.

Edmund laughed as this would be a usual day in the castle of Cair Parevel, "it's only five am, it will be light around six and then breakfast is at seven thirty."

"Wait...how long are we practicing?" (C/N) asked afraid of Edmunds answer.

Edmund scratched his head, "only two hours."

(C/N) stopped in her tracks making Edmund pause too, "What! Two hours!"

"Yep, the time will fly by fast." He told her as they reached the training area.

The whole place looked a bit lighter then before, there was no lanterns or anything lighting up the field. No one wanted to tip the Talmerains that they were here, so that meant complete darkness at night.

"Step in front of me and pull out your sword." Edmund told her as he pulled out his.

(C/N) yawned a big yawn and pulled out her sword, Edmund looked at her amused at how much her eyelids drooped.

"Ready for a free spar?" Edmund asked as he twirled the sword in his hand.

(C/N) yawned again not hearing what Edmund has asked her, she just stood in place looking at nothing.

"Are you ok?"

"What?"

"Are you ok?" Edmund asked for the second time.

(C/N) sat up strait and raised her sword in a upright position ready to spar, Edmund smirked and threw a swing at the girl.

(C/N) didn't pay attention again this time due to her big yawn, the young girls sword flew out of her hand and landed in the grass beside her.

"Hey! No fair, I was yawning." (C/N) stammered as she ran over to get her sword.

"Ok, a enemy won't care if your yawning or french kissing the pillows. They will attack you no matter what, always be..."

"Always be prepared. I know, I was a Girl Scout."

"Then good." Edmund said raising his sword for another match, "then you'll be ready when I do this."

Edmund swung at the girl, this time she blocked his attack.

After a hour, the sun came up and the field was visible. The grass had collected dew drops on its green surface, the birds were chirping and in the far field a little mist had collected near the first edge.

After another hour, the dew dried up and the mist dissipated. Narnians were starting to come out of the how and start the day, it was such a beautiful sight.

(C/N) was now sweaty and completely tired, all she wanted to do was eat a good breakfast and find a quiet place to sleep.

Edmund of course didn't look too bad himself, sweat did become him. His hair was all shiny and his shirt had become a bit loose. (C/N) could see the sweat on his chest, she couldn't help but stare.
