san wooyoung
05.08.17
as it turned out, missing as much school as wooyoung had been was having an effect on his performance. his attendance has been climbing gradually, these past weeks. but still not enough to get his grades back up.
san had agreed to come over and help him catch up, which is what they're trying to do now. wooyoung can hardly focus, though.
his thoughts have been mostly that of his parents, who had confirmed their awaited return only two days ago. their flight is scheduled to land tomorrow, and they had assured him there was no need to make the commute to greet them at the airport.
he cannot help but feel a little hurt, given the amount of time they had been apart. although he can't bring himself to resent them, knowing everything they do is for him.
as for the other subject of his rumination... unsurprisingly, it's none other than san. whatever he does, the male makes it into his mind without fail. especially the memories of his tantalizing touch, the way wooyoung melts under a mere caress of his fingers or brush of his lips. the way san lures him with enticing murmurs and flirtatious words- it all leaves him wanting more and more.
with these two contrasting subjects being the main spectacle of his mind, it's a miracle he's got through any of their work today. especially with san at his side, presence still as intensely deafening as ever.
the older male seems thoughtful, only speaking when necessary and even then his words come sparingly. there's a rather distant astuteness blanketing his tone, that wooyoung can't place.
he hasn't touched any of the school work in a while, just fiddling with san's pens. kicking his legs childishly, wooyoung builds up enough courage to ask him about his wistful mood, curiosity and concern getting the best of him. he nudges san's shoulder gently where they sit side by side on his bed, catching his attention.
"what's up with you today?" he asks softly, no accusatory humor in his voice. only genuine interest and care he can't disguise.
"hmm?" san answers with an oblivious hum, sliding his arm around wooyoung's waist loosely, clearly fixated on a question, scribbling away.
"you seem a little far away today." he ventures, unconsciously relaxing at his touch as he comments on his secluded manor. "if you want to talk-"
the other boy laughs shortly, exhaling through his nose. "it seems you beat me to it. i was gonna ask you about your parents."
"oh." wooyoung's shoulders slump at the reminder, disappointed some one else has already told san.
he squeezes the blonde gently upon his evident reaction, the reassurance making wooyoung's heart skip a beat. "seonghwa told me after yeosang told him. he thinks we don't know enough about each other."
san finishes with another small laugh, but the younger pouts in agreement. "he's right," he remarks, agreeing with the statement entirely.
"oh?" the raven haired's smirk can be deducted in his tone as he shuffles backwards and lies down on the bed, pulling wooyoung down with him.
the blonde lies flat on his back next to san, his blue eyes gazing unseeingly up at the roof. he stretches his arms behind him and crosses them behind his head, getting more comfortable as san discards the work, papers ruffling.
"i guess you don't know a whole lot about me. but i don't know everything about you, either." san ponders, shuffling next to him.
wooyoung can't see, but the male has turned onto his side, bending his elbow to prop his chin onto his hand so he can look down at the other boy as he lies there unknowingly.
