Tiana's Perspective
"In that perfect stranger, I found my fairytale."-Alvin Silverstar

IT seemed like everything had started falling into place with little to complain over, and trust me in my life I rarely complained. I was finally in Savannah, a land I knew not much of, and at least I had some of my belongings with me. However, the minute I had a fighting chance to smile things always took a turn for the worst. Upon entering Wilcox establishments with the heavy box in my hand I was surprisingly knocked over by a heavy glass door. The impact of gravity made me fall losing control over my body and the box, shooting pain throughout my lower back and elbows that made contact with the concrete ground. I was in such a state of shock no words or noises came out of my mouth.
The man that had knocked me over looked up from his phone eyes growing big in the process. Profanity came from his mouth as he tried helping me up. I felt like a child as he tried assisting me back up on my feet, which resulted in me stumbling again over a picture of my mother and me before she had passed. This increased my level of embarrassment even more. The man kept observing me taking in my appearance and physique, typical male. He was very attractive and tall making me nervous, it had been so long since I'd even spoken to a man which was always a challenge for me to began with.
He tried retrieving my items for me which was a problem because I was very sensitive when it came to my personal belongings. I rambled some stupid jumbo grabbing my stuff throwing it back into the brown cardboard box leaving him baffled. To defeat any further awkwardness I rushed into the building bumping my shoulder on the door on the way in, he must have thought I was crazy.
"That's great Tiana you see a cute guy and act retarded in front of him," I mumbled to myself walking through the building with urgent energy. Eyes followed me as I searched for any type of office that could give me some sort of guidance.
It didn't take long for me to realize that this was a car dealership, oh the irony. A large percentage of the staff looked to be white and male with only a few women walking around in business attire making my chances smaller of even getting hired here. After a while of walking throughout the building with my box, I found an open office.
"Oh thank God," I said peeking inside. There was a skinny blonde woman sitting at the desk typing on a computer with frames glued to her face. I knocked on the door catching her attention. She looked up from the computer in a confused state staring at me.
"Hi, I'm Tiana Woods I could use your assistance with something...if you're not too busy," I said quietly.
"Sure just let me finish up with this right quick. Do you mind waiting outside the door for a few minutes?" She asked smiling at me.
"Not at all."
I sat in a seat outside of the office watching workers in their natural element quietly holding onto my box. A lanky man walked by in a navy blue jumpsuit covered in sweat and oil. He paused stopping directly in front of me throwing out a wink.
"Damn chocolate you new here?" He asked smirking at me catching me off-guard.
"Excuse me?" I wanted to gag at his awful pick-up line.
