THE sounds of scribbling surrounded us as I switched back and forth between colors. I sat back comfortably in my chair trying to stay in between the lines without an inch of color leaving my drawing.
"That shit is ugly. Didn't you learn how to color in elementary school?" Sixty stared at my paper laughing as I shook my head continuing to color the Spider-Man image.
We were currently sitting at my island coloring in my God son's coloring book he left at my apartment. I scratched the back of my head putting the crayon down.
"I'm still bored."
"Same and we look dumb sittin' here coloring in a book." Sixty took the coloring book taking it over to the basket on my kitchen counter.
"Aye bring that back girl I wasn't done colorin' his mask." I stood up following her into the kitchen.
"You are now it's not yours anyway leave Trey's coloring book alone and pick up them dropped crayons off the floor before they spread on the damn carpet, you gon be mad then."
"You ain't my momma," I mumbled to myself picking up the crayons off the floor putting them into the basket as well.

"This new girl I work with." I said taking my phone.
"Oh well, she texted you."
I hurried up and opened the text message eagerly wanting to know what the content of her message was.
"Damn your in hurry, you sure she's just a co-worker?" Sixty asked smirking at me.
"She's a friend too." I said nonchalantly looking down at my phone.
"Mhm is this friend cute?" Sixty was now standing in front of me smirking with her hands on her hips.
"Yes," I shrugged.
"Whatever Owen you can play games all day I know how you get when you're interested in a girl."
"Oh is that right?" I stopped paying her mind responding to the text message.
Tiana: hey Owen...this is Tia.
Owen: I know bobblehead.
