16 - never have i ever

as the night went on, it all just felt like it was getting shittier and shittier. except everyone else was just having fun. hell, i even grabbed a beer to try and let myself loose, but i was still the same petty and selfish bitch judy thinks i am, again.

"okay, so i'm pretty sure we all know how to play never have i ever right?" taylor asked. everyone nodded their heads. "okay, i'll go first. never have i ever, had sex?"

everyone practically drank, except hailey, me, tati, and judy. when alec sipped on his beer, i decided to sip on my beer too. to make it seem like me and alec did it, and judy saw what i was doing. "taehyung, your turn." taylor said.

"okay, never have i ever, hooked up in a pool?" tati and taehyung looked at each other and began to laugh, drinking up their beers. taylor, derek, and alec took a sip too.

"okay, never have i ever made out in a sketchy roadside motel." tati said. taehyung chuckled, "yeah, that was fun." they both took a sip of their beers.

"put that on our to-do list." taylor said to derek.

"do you wanna get outta here?" i heard tati say to taehyung. he smirked and nodded. she grabbed his hand and they stood up, "have fun you two." derek teased. "okay, never have i ever wanted to hook up with the person on my right." taylor said.

derek smiled at her as she took a sip, staring into his eyes. i saw alec look at judy and take a sip, she blushed and elbowed him softly in the stomach. derek took a sip as he looked at alec, "really dude?" alec questioned.

"homies for life man." derek laughed.

"um, never have i ever fooled around with someone i wasn't in love with?" judy asked. i scoffed silently as she looked at alec, waiting for him to drink. what the hell does she think she's doing?

derek and taylor took a sip, but alec never did. "yeah right! what about that time with that girl-" derek started. "hey!" alec stopped him, glaring at derek so he could shut up.

"oh, sorry," derek put his hands up. "not in front of the girlfriend."

"don't listen to him." alec told judy. judy narrowed her eyes at him, "what was that about?"

"things are gonna get interesting," taylor commented on the side. "your turn danica."

"okay," i cleared my throat. "never have i ever ditched my best friend for my boyfriend, who i stole from her anyway. drink up judy. 'cause all you wanna do is talk about your boyfriend, so let's talk about him." i snapped at her.

"fine. never have i ever dated someone even though i knew my friend liked him first." she shot back.

"for the millionth time, you said it was okay." i narrowed my eyes.

"oh, you just don't like that you're single and i'm not."

i scoffed, "the hypocrisy is unbelievable."

"okay, make we should just call it quits." hailey suggested.

"how about a new game? how about truth or dare? alec, truth or dare?" taylor asked. "uh...dare." he shrugged.

"i dare you to spend seven minutes in heaven with judy."

"seven minutes alone with my girl? no problem." he said. "um, sorry. i'm claustrophobic." she said nervously.

"okay then, danica." taylor sighed.

"what? no!" judy scoffed. "whoa. um, i don't think that's a good idea." alec said.

"why you don't trust your man judy?" taylor pushed. derek pursed his lips, "you got yourself a jealous one there, alec."

"hey guys, lay off." hailey said.

"no, go ahead. it's no big deal right?" judy scoffed.

i shrugged, "right." i stood up from my seat and walked over to alec, grabbing his arm and pulling him away from judy. i found a closet right away and shoved him inside, i leaned against the shelves that were inside as he closed the door.

"ah! that's my foot." i said as he moved. i did pick a pretty small closet, "sorry." he said. he took out his phone and turned on the flashlight.

"is there something wrong with me?" i asked. "what?" he asked.

"i've always thought i was pretty nice to spend time with..."

"well, you are."

"except, tati and judy both invited their boyfriends just to get out of girls' night. i mean, i planned this whole night because i wanted to spend genuine time with them, now look." i sighed.

"quality time is important for couples."

"and it's not for friends? i'm everyone's second choice."

"that's crazy," he scoffed. "you're a great girl."

"so great you dumped me for my best friend?"

he sighed, "i am sorry about that."

"we used to have so much fun together. remember our snack parties? and that barbecue chip incident?' we both broke out into laughter.

"you're ridiculous. but that's what makes you awesome. there's got to be at least one guy out there who'll appreciate that."

i smiled to myself as i thought about seokjin, "you're right, there is."

"i'm just sorry that guy wasn't me. i really am sorry for leaving you the way i did."

i smiled, "it's okay. you know what, i think i am finally over being jealous about you and judy." he smiled, "that's good to hear. so we're cool?"

i nodded my head, "we're cool."

"time's up you two." taylor said. we both walked out of the closet, he hugged me softly and i hugged him back, i'm glad i finally made peace.

"did you kiss?' judy's voice interrupted. "what?" alec asked.

"i would never do that to you." i said to her.

"guess she'll give you what i won't." she crossed her arms. "and what the hell is that supposed to mean?" i asked.

"you know that i won't have sex because i'm not ready. so you just go to her because you know she'll give it to you right?" judy asked alec.

i scoffed, "fuck you judy, i'm not that easy for your information. but hey, it's better than being uptight like you right?" i pushed past her and stormed away.

i am officially sick of this shit.
