"y/n, what are you doing here?" mingi asked surprised to see you standing in front of him. he noticed your backpack and raised an eyebrow.

"i was wondering if i could stay the night here?"

"sure," mingi stepped aside and allowed to come into the dorm. "why?"

"i just missed you and wanted to spend some time with you," mingi could tell you weren't telling the whole truth.

"you saw a spider didn't you?" you threw your bag on the floor immediately after he said that and turned to him with the biggest pout you could muster, tears welling up in your eyes.

"it was so huge and scary and i thought it was gonna eat me! i cried like five times on the way over!" you said as mingi took you into his hold. his arms wrapping around you and you didn't hesitate to press your face into his chest as you hugged him back.

"we'll take jongho with us tomorrow to try and get rid of it," mingi said and you thanked him quietly as you picked your bag up before you both made your way to his room.

you spent the rest of the night in his embrace as he reassured you that no spider was gonna eat you while he was there to protect you.
