"you want a what?" you asked looking surprised at your boyfriend.

"a baby. i want a baby," he repeats.

"why? where did all this come from?"

"i don't know. maybe from the news of chen-sunbaenim getting engaged and having a baby has me thinking about wanting one," mingi confesses with a shrug of his shoulders.

"o-oh okay then..."

"i mean we don't have to have one right now but maybe in the future."

"i was about to say that i honestly don't think i'm ready to be a parent yet."

"that's fine. i know i just dropped this on you without any warning, but i want you to know that whenever you're ready. i'll be ready too."

later that night, you sat on the couch thinking about what you and mingi talked about earlier.

"hey, mingi?" you call out turning to see him walking out of the kitchen, drink in hand. "about earlier with wanting a baby... did you, did you mean it?"

"of course i did. why wouldn't i?"

"i don't know, i just never really thought i could be seen as someone you would want to start a family with."

"why would i not think about starting a family with you. i love you and i wouldn't want anyone else to help raise my future kids than you."

"you mean that?" you ask and he sits down next you before pulling you to rest your head on his chest.

"every word of it," mingi says placing a kissing on your forehead.
