it had been around five months since hongjoong adopted you and brought you home. slowly but surely you began to open up and grow rather welcoming to both hongjoong and yunho. the eldest would often find him on the end of your affection as you liked to curl up next to him on the couch whenever he returned home from work. hongjoong often looked forward to it when he got home. hearing you rush to the door to greet him with a warm smile.

"hongjoong-oppa!" you greeted with a smile, arms open for him to hug you. hongjoong took a step towards you and you immediately got a smell of an unfamiliar scent that you didn't like. quickly before hongjoong could hug you, you stepped away as your face contorted into one of disgust, ears pointing back.

"what's wrong?" hongjoong asked, his own face full of concern.

"you smell," is all you say as you step away from him still not wanting him to touch you.

"i do?" hongjoong quickly smells himself doesn't smell anything off about himself. "i smell fine, y/n," he says.

"no! go shower and get rid of those clothes. you reek of... other cats," you glare at him before turning and running back to the living room, your tail swaying behind you. hongjoong only sighs before heading towards the bathroom, along the way he passes you and yunho on the couch. the blonde hybrid is quick to greet him with a smile before turning back to the tv.

after his shower, hongjoong emerges clean and heads to the living room after getting dressed. "alright, now can i have my welcome home hug?" hongjoong questions you. he watches you sniff him quickly from a slight distance, a smile graces your face as you sit on your knees, arms wide open for him.

hongjoong is quick to engulf you in his arms, a pleasant sigh leaves your mouth as you intake his familiar strawberry scent. you pull away in order to look hongjoong in the eyes, a serious look on your face. "don't let other cats hang on you, joongie, you're my oppa," you warn, said male laughs and nods before he presses a light kiss to your nose.

"hey, are you guys being lovey without me," you look behind you to see a pouty yunho, who was looking at you both with his arms crossed.

"come here, pup," you say, yunho is quick to wrap his arms around both you and hongjoong and squeeze you two tightly to his chest as he hugs you.
