Chapter 21: Ashes

"I think Connor is with them somewhere" Mia guessed.

"I dont know, we will find out when we get to Aldermine" Bryan said.

As they drove off, Kingwell laid in dust, stadium peices, and fire. Kingwell had been defeated.

They eventually made it to the front gate of Aldermine and nobody was guarding. The plane flew above Aldermine and into the airport.

"Why isnt there anybody opening the gate?" Eli asked.

As he said that, the gate flew open and broke off. Trucks fled Aldermine and walkers devoured the inside of the airport.

"Oh my god" Eli said.

"We need to leave" Mia said.

"No, we cant, Roman is there, Caitlin Oliver, Winston, Vick and my wife Raylen." Eli said.

Bryan sighed and got out of the car with his gun. The car behind him did the same and they started to attack the walkers. Bryan and Eli ran to the hangar to find the others and Mia went to find Vick. Bryan shot walkers along the way and saw people at the hangar fighting their way out Eli stabbed and shot the walkers. Bryan ran to the people.

"Go, get to the front gate!" He yelled at them while guiding them out.

Screams could be heard from the other side of the airport and Bryan began to worry. The people ran back to the front gate and squished themselves into the car.

"Quick introduction, thats Caitlin, Oliver, Winston, and my beautiful wife Raylen" Eli said.

"Okay, we need to find the others in there" Bryan said driving near the walkers.

He looked all around and didnt see anything. He stopped to see Issac carrying Floyd. He guided them to the gates and Issac and Floyd got into the other car.

Bryan looked at the walker infested airport and sadly turned to drive away. Mia, Avery, Vick, and Roman were yet to come out safe. Bryan drove off.

"Where are we going?" Oliver asked.

"Were going to a place called The Trinity" Bryan answered.

"What is that?" Eli questioned him.

"Youll find out, its another community" Bryan answered.

"Why arent we going to Highbury?" Eli asked him.

"Its too dangerous, Apollo knows where it is" He replied.

"What about the others" Eli said.

"Mia knows where to go, I know she does" Bryan said.

As they drove off... Aldermine laid there in fire and walkers...
