Chapter 25: Hold Your Fire

He put a knife to Connors throat.

"Put it down" Bryan said.

Apollo looked at Kennedy and Kennedy put tape on his mouth. Mumbles came out of his mouth while Kennedy held him down.

Apollo slowly put his knife against Connors neck and saw Bryans reactions.

"Hey Bryan, watch this!" Apollo said to him.

Eli came out from behind a house.

"WAIT!"

"Dont, I helped attack Kingwell, kill me" Eli said.

Martin pointed a gun at him and so did Brianna.

"Why not both?!" Apollo said slitting Connors throat.

Blood rushed out of his throat as he fell onto the concrete. Bryan freaked out but Kennedy kept him down. Jim looked to see Connor on the ground. They hadn't given each other a welcome back hello. Jim cryed.

"Shoot him" Apollo said to Martin and Brianna.

A shot gets fired and hits Martin in the chest. Mia peeks out from the wall with Floyd. Mia shoots Brianna and Apollo gets behind cover and Bryan headbutts Kennedy with the back of his head making Kennedy let go. Bryan takes the tape off his mouth and aims the gun at Kennedy's head. He attempts to shoot him but gets tackled. Martin tackled him and graba his gun but Bryan kicks it out of his hand and punches him. He pulls out a knife slicing his stomach open and punches Kennedy with his other hand. They both fall to the floor and Bryan runs to his gun and runs away. Mia, Floyd, and Jim follow.

"Get to these houses and find Issac and Avery." Bryan said.

"More warriors are coming in and we need to defend this place." Bryan said.

"Got it" Mia and Jim said. They ran to the other houses and Floyd stayed there.

"You know, im sorry for the way ive acted" Floyd says.

"Its alright" Bryan says shaking his hand.

"Youre gonna be the leader of this place" Floyd said.

Bryan smiled.

Floyd ran to the houses and Bryan cocked the gun. He came out from behind the house and aimed over at where Apollo and Kennedy were. Nobody was there. He looked around and didnt see everyone. He looked behind him and Kennedy shot at him.
