As Julia and I sitted comfortably on the chair, she started asking me some questions.
"So Kath, you cannot answer this if you don't want to but bakit ka naulila? I mean, what happened?" Julia asked me.
"Uhm, kase hindi kami sobrang yaman noon. My mom is a simple employee while my dad is a Governor Engineer.Sobrang daming pinagkautangan ng family ko, hindi na sila nakabayad until lubog na sila sa utang. Kinuha na lahat ng kotse namin, hanggang pati yung bahay namin nawala na. Since we don't know where to live, may koting pera pa naman si daddy, he booked us a flight sa Cebu, hometown namin. The day of our flight, i felt that everything was okay na. But one incident changed everything. Nag crash yung plane na sinasakyan namin and i luckily survived. My parents........died." I told her without even noticing that tears are already falling from my eyes.
"Hush Kath, alam ba ni DJ lahat ng 'to?" Julia asked me again.
"Yes, he knew all of this. He has been my comforter and bestfriend from the start" I said while holding back the tears from falling.
"We're very lucky to have DJ in our lives. Uhh, I mean as a fiance for me and as a bestfriend for you" she said.
"Yes. Since you've got to know my story already, maybe it's the time to talk about yours? Hahaha." i told her.
"Uhh so my story's not kind of interesting. I have everything. I can buy whatever I want. But one thing why I can't be truly happy is because of my parents. They're always busy and focusing on their work. I want to tell them na money can't buy my happiness because they're my happiness. Kaya I'm so thankful na nandyan si DJ kasi he doesn't make me feel that I'm alone. He always treats me special and I always feel so loved." teary-eyed niyang sabi.
After i heard her story. I felt lucky to have my parents, kasi they have time for me, to take care of me. Never nila kong pinabayaan kahit mahirap lang kami.
"Ohmygosh parehas na tayong naiiyak. Hahaha" She said and we both laughed with tears filling our eyes.
"Anong nangyare ladies?" biglang sulpot ni Deej at umupo sa tabi ni Julia. They're so perfect for each other.
"Nothing babe. We're just having a story telling about our lives" Julia said.
"Eh bakit parang umiyak kayo? Anong nangyare sainyo" Daniel said with worried face.
"Wala bes. Dami mong satsat. Kain nalang natin yan, kanina pa ko gutom eh." I said to lighten up our moods. Then the three of us laughed because of what I said.
Sobrang dami naming kinain hanggang sumabog na yung tyan namin sa sobrang puno.
JOKE HAHAHAHHAHA. Sobrang nakakabusog talaga pramis! Try niyo kaya? Hahahahajk.
After namin kumain, naiwan kami ni Deej dito sa kitchen, nag CR kasi si Julia eh.
"Bes" tawag sakin ni DJ
"Oh? Kailangan mo?" i answered him back.
"Tulungan mo naman ako oh" sabi niya. Huh? Ano daw?
"Huh? Tulungan saan?" sagot ko.
"Ehh kasi wala pang nagagawang preparations sa kasal namin ni Jul. Wala kasi siyang kasama eh. Uhm bes, pwede mo ba siyang samahan sa mga pupuntahan niya? Alam mo na, may trabaho kasi ako tapos aasikasuhin ko pa yung iba pang kailangan sa kasal namin. Please bes?" sabi ni Deej na naka-puppy eyes pa. Matatanggihan ko pa ba tong cute kong bestfriend?
"Uhhhhmmmm" kunwari akong nag-iisip. Hahahaha. Biglang naging kinakabahan yung mukha ni DJ, para bang kabado siya sa isasagot ko. HAHAHA. Nakakatuwa mukha neto ni bes.
"Bes sige na please please pleeease?" pacute niyang sabi. HAHAHA. Nakakatawa yung itsura eh.
"Sige na nga! Wala rin naman akong gagawin eh." nag-agree na ko. Wala naman akong magagawa tsaka masaya kaya gumala! Tapos ang dami pang gagawin, eh dito sa bahay wala. Para na rin makatulong ako kahit konti diba?
"YES! THANKYOU BES! MAHAL MO TALAGA AKO HAHAHAHA" sigaw ni Deej. Grabe boses nitong lalaking to! Abot na ata sa kapitbahay eh.
"Babe? Why are you shouting? What happened?" halatang nagulat si Julia sa pag sigaw ni DJ.
"Babe! Guess what? Pumayag si Kath na samahan ka sa appointments mo for our wedding! Isn't it great?" sobrang saya sabi ni DJ.
"It is great! Omg. Thankyou Kath!" masaya ding sabi ni Julia.
"No worries! Para matulungan ko na din kayo!" sabi ko sakanila.
