I opened my front door to see a bright and happy Dj holding grocery bags. He held the bags up while I rubbed my eyes attempting to remove the sleep from them. Asia walked next to me and adjusted her robe while smiling.
" um not trying to be rude or anything but why are you here with bags " he laughed and looked at the stairs leading up to my apartment which had Dustin walking up with another bag. " just come in "
" we wanted to make you guys breakfast soo move " He walked in and went straight to the kitchen and I waited outside for Dustin. He had on black joggers, sweatshirt and a beanie.
" good morning mamas, I know we just popped up uninvi-"
" yea you guys just show- " I was interrupted by him leaning down in my face.
" BUT..you did say I could take you out tomorrow and it's tomorrow sooo let me make you breakfast " I was too sleepy to argue so I just groaned loudly and finally gave in. He smiled and walked straight to the kitchen.
After I closed the door, I sat on one of the bar stools that was placed by the island. Both boys started grabbing pots and pans, and the occasional silverware to help them. Dj looked very confused, as for Dustin he was just cracking eggs and moving at a steady pace. Asia leaned against the island and stood on the tips of her toes, trying to see what they were making.
I yawned loudly which made Dustin look up at me, not only was it early as hell...I looked crazy. But...I was enjoying the show that was being displayed in front of me, and not only was he cooking breakfast but he was using fresh ingredients. The smell of cilantro, bell peppers and onions filled the room and it actually smelled great.
" that smells sooo good but uhhh Dj why are you just standing there.. " we all shot a look towards him, only to catch him eating some peaches and looking at Dustin cook.
Dustin glances up while grabbing plates and some forks for everybody. " because he's ass at cooking food " He laughed and started to place everybody's food on their own plate. First was Asia then Dj and of course they walked over to the couch and ate theirs, while me and Dustin sat next to each other. " well... "
I had a mouth full of food and I looked at him with big confused eyes " well what " he smacked his lips and looked down at the food then back up at me. " ohhh! It's really good where did you learn to cook like this "
" from my mom , she's a chef and I would always watch her cook "
" well this is really good Dustin and you used fresh ingredients unlike other people I know " we both laughed and stopped abruptly. I looked over and saw Asia grab her keys and purse. " ummm where are y'all going "
