"I never thought that I would be happy to be back in class. Especially since finals are coming up."
"My classes have been pretty easy this semester and our final is supposed to match, according to my professor."
"Yea right. That's what they all say, until you get the damn test and everything is completely different." Asia rolled her eyes and sat down on the grass. "Anyway, how did your little date go yesterday with Dustin?"
I took my phone out of my back pocket and sat down. "Umm it went a little bit left. I asked him if he thought that our relationship would work. He got kinda annoyed and basically told me about myself."
"Nessa..."
"I know. It was just heavy on my heart especially since we left Texas. My dad treated him like shit and I know that was annoying." She shook her head and sighed. "Then that little episode we had about the girl texting his phone."
"Yeaaaaa it felt like it started with his hair and then went down hill from that."
"That's the thing though, I don't care what he does with his hair. It was the fact that all of a sudden he started acting funny." I groaned loudly and laughed. "I may be very insecure but I would never trip about shit like that. I love him entirely to much for that."
"From the outside looking in...and being your best friend, I think that y'all are perfect for each other. You make him so happy and I've never seen you smile so much unless you're around him. But I do agree that you shouldn't question your love just because of the way you view yourself."
"I know, I'm working on it slowly but surely. Anyway how is momma handling this pregnancy, I heard her tell my mom that it's harder than it was when she was pregnant with you?"
She sighed and shook her head. "She's doing good, but she won't tell me what her doctor has been saying. It's just so much going on. But enough of this sad shit, are you going to the tattoo shop with me tonight?"
"Can't. I'm helping Dustin study for his test, he's been blowing my phone up all day to remind me. Honestly, I actually love helping him with his work. Then again I'm like damn, because my work is hard at."
Asia starts laughing and applying her chapstick. "Nobody told you to pick such a hard ass major, but I understand why though. Y'all are soooo cute, helping him study for his wittle test." She made kissing noises all in my face and stuck her tongue out. "I think we should all go on a double date. Well another one, and hopefully it doesn't end up like last weekend."
