Rollercoaster

"Have you ever been on a roller coaster?" Zarah asked Aliyah.

"Yeah, a few times" 

Well, Aliyah lied, she might have been a huge fan of sky diving but never that of the roller coaster ride.

"I have tried it countless times but the feeling is still the same, it never changes. Everytime feels just like the first time" Zarah said.

"Very true. I used to be scared of it until my friend forced me into trying it, its fun and exciting thing to do"

Aliyah spoke half the truth, i'll say the other half. She has been on a rollercoaster only once, that too she was forced into it by Pinky. While in sky diving you have a free fall, a roller coaster ride if full of repeated circles, alternating feelings, twists and turns.

"I'll sit with my princess" Hafis said.

"I don't mind it" Zarah didn't argue about it this time.
The last time they came they were dragging over who gets to sit with Yasmeen.

The coaster had sits designed to accommodate two people, with two sits facing each other. And that was how they sat, Zarah and Aliyah facing Hafis and Yasmin.

"The seats feels uncomfortable" Aliyah thought. But then, when the safety officer adjusted their seatbelts she knew it was too late to back out.

The safety officer ensured that all had their safety belts on before giving the green light to the operator.

Slowly slowly, it began to move up higher and higher. All of a sudden the speed outburst came and it moved fast causing the winds to push her back, het hearts began to race as tonnes of adrenaline shot and she couldn't hide the fear that was visible on my face, it was automated.

As the coaster moved faster, Aliya clenched unto Zarah's hand, well, she had no idea she did until Zarah spoke atop of her voice.

"If you hold on to fear, you won't enjoy the ride. But if you set your heart free of fear, you get to make room for the amazing feelings of excitement and happiness and only then did you really enjoy the ride. That's what my brother says"

"Okay" Aliyah nodded.

People screamed as soon as the coaster passed through the first circular twist at a fast speed.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Aliyah screamed the loudest, she could see Hafis look at her, she could even see the smirk on his lips but, this was no time to feel embarrassed.

The ride slowed down as it gained higher altitude, and Aliyah knew that only spelled more trouble for her, tears flowed from her eyes as she cried inwardly.

The ride went very fast down the steep slope, Aliyah wanted to cry out loud, she wanted to scream but then her eyes fell on excited Yasmeen, she was enjoying the ride she didn't say a word yet she spoke to Aliyah

"I am supposed to be the baby here"

"Oh no, no, no. I messed up" Aliyah said to herself as she wiped off her wasted tears.

"I've been to a higher hieght than this, i can do this" She encouraged herself.

From then Aliyah regained her composure never to loose it during the ride again.

Time to time the strong wind pushed their heads head against the back of their seats. Aliyah's head in particular banged into the back of her seat multiple times giving her a headache, or may be it was caused by the feeling of being scared.
