Chapter 3

Daniel's POV:-
For the next couple of days, the only thing on my mind was to find the boy and I told my servants to check every house in the country. But I didn't find him.

I was about to give up when I suddenly remembered something. The boy had ran into the direction of the forest. So he must have a home there. Finally finding a new hope I called my servants and told them to get prepared for our journey.

Around 12 that day, me and three of my servants set off towards the forest. Growing up we had been told not to go near the forest as it was dangerous. But I didn't care right now. I was determined and nothing was going to hold me back. So I marched inside the first with three of my most trust worthy servants close behind me.

We walked and walked into the forest for miles but found no house or anything livable in the forest.

Feeling tired, I ordered my servants to set up the fire and get food ready before collapsing on the floor.

Once the food was ready, we quickly ate it then set off again towards the other end of the forest.

After about an hour just as I was about to give up, I saw a light in front of me. I quickly made my towards it and the next thing I knew, I was facing the outside of a village.

I proceeded to walk towards it then stopped in my tracks when I saw the same boy coming towards me with a basket in his hand. As soon as he saw me though, he turned on his heels ready to run back when I called out.

"Wait. Please don't go", I said softly.

He turned towards me, looking at me with his beautiful brown eyes and I couldn't help but stare at him. He stared back at me for a few seconds before he turned away again and ran inside the village.

I called out to him to stop but he didn't stop running. By this time, my servants had approached me and together, the three of us set off to look for the brown eyed boy.
