Zaniel AU (Love Sick).

Chapter 4

Daniel's POV:-
A couple hours later we had searched half of the village when we suddenly came to a scruffy little house in the middle of the village. I gently knocked on the door and it was immediately opened by a lady of about 40. As soon as she saw me she bowed her head and told me come in. The village was part of our kingdom so everyone knew us here.

"Please, Your Majesty. It'll be a pleasure", she said smiling at me."I don't have much to serve you but it'll be the best".

"No madam", I said."I haven't come here to eat. Only to see your beautiful house. May I come in?".

"Why of course", she said moving out of the way."You're very welcome".

I stepped inside and immediately saw two children looking at me from behind a wall.

"Who are they?", I asked the old lady.

"Oh. Just my niece and nephew", she replied."My sister and her husband died two years ago and since then I have been taking care of these two".

"Hmm", I said nodding my head. Somehow, I didn't like the way she talked about them. It was more like sneering then talking.

I further walked inside the house when I looked up and saw a pair of brown eyes looking back at me. I was sure they were those same eyes that belonged to the boy. So I turned towards the old lady and asked her if anyone else lived in the house.

She nodded and said,"Yes. Their big brother. And my husband lives here as well".

"Right", I said."Well. Can I see their big brother?".

"Certainly, my lord",she said"I'll be right back with him".

She came down after a few minutes with someone following close behind. I looked up to see who it was and sure enough it was the same boy I had met a few hours ago. I could recognize those beautiful brown eyes anywhere.

I stared at him and he blushed looking down

"Good Morning, Your Majesty", he said in a low voice, almost a whisper.

It was the first time I had ever heard his voice and to me it was music to my ears. So heavenly and beautiful.

"Good Morning", I said nodding my head at him."What's your name?".

"Z..Zach", he replied hesitantly."Zach Herron".

"Hmm. A beautiful name", I replied then proceeded to ask him a few questions, mainly because I kept wanting to hear his beautiful voice.

Once it was 5, I bid them farewell and headed out the door. But not before asking Zach to meet me at the park tomorrow afternoon.
