Zaniel AU (Love Sick).

Chapter 7

Daniel's POV:-
Once I approached the castle, I headed up to my room, changed into my training clothes and made my way downstairs to the training room.

After half an hour of training I headed upstairs again and took a quick shower before changing into decent clothes, making myself look presentable.

I still couldn't get Zach out of my mind. I sighed as I got dressed and headed downstairs to greet the Roberts.

Once I approached the room where they were all seated, I greeted them all then went to sit with the kids who were in the other room behind the big one.

We started talking about random stuff until dinner was ready. It was just me and the Roberts' children. Corbyn and Jack were joining us later.

We sat down to eat with the elders then decided to go for a walk in the park. I was happy because the park always helped me relax. I always went there since I was a kid. By the time we were done with dinner Corbyn and Jack had joined us in the small room after greeting my parents and the Roberts. I was glad that they had arrived because it was awkward for me to have a straight conversation with Pam and Michael, the Roberts kids. Plus they seemed a bit strange which was a bit unsettling for me.

We got ready and headed towards the castle gates and out into the common world. We were just about to walk towards the path which lead to the park when I suddenly remembered that I had left my phone at the dinner table.

I told the others to go on without me and went back to retrieve my phone. As I did, I never thought that I would hear the things being said behind my back. I couldn't believe my parents. How could they do this to me?

I stood there shocked not knowing what to think. Were they really thinking about it without asking me? I was really angry and upset at this point but I shook it off. I took a deep breath and entered the room going to the back, grabbing my phone and heading out of the room. I went downstairs and joined the others who were now at the front of the park.

My mind was racing with thoughts and I knew I had to confront my parents. But I was going to wait for the right time. After all I didn't want to make a fool of myself.

With my mind racing, I followed Corbyn, Jack, Pam and Michael through the park.

As we approached the other end, I couldn't help but glance at the wood. Hoping. Praying to see him. But there was no one. I sighed.

I wish I knew why Zach so suddenly decided to stop meeting with me altogether. Right now my mind was racing and I couldn't think straight. I needed to share all this with someone. So when Corbyn asked me if I was okay, I gave him a look that told him I wasn't and that I'd talk to him about it later. Neither him nor Jack knew yet that I wasn't meeting Zach anymore.
