I moved a few steps behind as I anticipate the next threat that was coming to me. One of the creature tried to jump on me but I quickly duck and rolled out of harms way. Immediately after rolling, I grabbed my crossbow and shot out one of the enemy at their head. I wasn't able to use my patented Cyclone Bolt as it was a quick shot and in order for me to use said patented bolt, I would need to focus my Infinitum energy into that single bolt.
With that being said, a large minion ran straight toward me just as I was recovering from my previous shot. I got up and was able to threw a throwing knife to one of its eye. It stopped in its track as the other minion joined in the fight. Once again, I pushed them back with a windy push. But that's not exactly the case. I actually pushed myself into the large minion, climbed on its back and stab the nape of its neck with my prized dagger.
The minion was not dead but it was completely out of balance as I forcefully scratched deep into the nape of the creature from left to right. As I do that, I learned that I was able to conduct 'puppeteering' on the minion and so I took my chance as I moved around my dagger deep into the minion wound. As I continued to hang on the back of the minion, the minion proceeds to swing their weapon all over the place, hitting their fellow minion buddy. I was able to clear quite a lot of them. With a window of opportunity, I looked behind me and threw a throwing knife toward Memento.
Memento was able to block said attack as he quickly grabbed one of his minion and used it as a meat shield. He then threw the minion far away to point of probably killing it. It's just adding more reason to how dangerous this Chaos Champion could potentially be if it were to eventually gather all said dragon inheritors.
"You think I'm going to get caught by that kind of surprise, White?" He laughed.
I ignored him as I proceed to continue eviscerating his minion around me. A few seconds later, the large minion had slowed down and becoming less responsive. I jumped away from the large minion and decided to charge up a move that I was taught last semester, The Spiral Wind technique. I wasn't able to use at its full potential because it takes a lot more time to charge it up. I ended up using a quick version of it and used on the groggy large creature. The creature then spins around in motion like a baseball as it drop on top of the smaller minions in its path.
Once again, I threw another throwing knife to Memento. He also does the same thing as before as he summoned a new minion to act as his meat shield and proceed to kill it afterwards.
"You're wasting your time here, White. Why don't you use that dragon power of yours for once." suggested Memento.
"You're suggesting something that will only lead to your defeat. What are you planning?" I asked as I continued to fight against the minions.
Memento told me, "You'll never get a right answer from me, White. Didn't I told you that I could be lying or I could be telling the truth?"
"You asked for it..." I warned him.
I said that but I don't have the slightest idea on how to actually use said dragon power. The only thing I know was to use both my Pause and Blink ability in the most efficient way possible. It was at that moment where I was blindsided by Memento. He actually went physical and shoulder tackled me. I dropped to the ground and tried to get up but Memento immediately puts his foot on top of me. He forcefully step onto my body as I scream in anguish.
"Seems like you don't even know how to use your dragon ability. How disappointing. I'm only here to see how far you've been. This is what I get in the end...Pathetic."
"Get off of me!" I tried to push back his foot but the force was too heavy for me.
"What's this? I never seen you wear this thing before." Memento noticed my necklace.
He ripped it apart from my neck and observed the necklace.
"Interesting...there are Infinitum energies imbued in this small crystal...This is a fine piece of work."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Containing a large sum of Infinitum energies requires a large container. But this however...is almost like the dragon crystals. For it to be man-made...it would be a shame if I take it away from you."
Just at the moment of that word being spouted from his mouth. My mind started to recall distant memories of the past. It was surreal. It was ethereal. It was...a zenith to me.
"What's your favourite colour?" a voice asked.
The flash of memory fades out as I shouted to Memento, "No!"
My eyes started to glow golden as it quickly turned into two dragon eyes. I was finally able to push back Memento. It caught him off guard as he lets go of the necklace. I captured the necklace and held it tightly as it proceeds to glow blue.
I smiled as my body started to reveal blue fiery aura all around. This was a different colour then before. Last time it was uncontrollable. This one seems...focused.
"Finally." Memento sounds as if he has achieved something. "All in!" He proceed to summon even more of his minion to do his bidding.
This time around, there's even a shadow creature that looks like a dragon. All of it went awry as a wall of blue fire embellish all of the minion and burnt them all to crisp.
"Fascinating." Memento smiled. "Now he can breath like one..."
The battle was almost at its climax as the two of us glared at each other as my eyes now turned bright blue instead of gold.
