Chapter 6.14 - ??? - Error in The System

Somewhere not too far from The Glorious Kingdom of Spectrum. Multiple AIs can be seen partying without worrying about anything. All of them have reached Singularity right after the Queen, Sam Maximus activated it a couple of days ago. We have conquered commander Jarde's city and took this city for ourselves, the AI Force.

"Damn! Singularity feels so good!" One of the AIs spoke to his friend as he took a sip of beer.

"You're damn right! Those humans don't know what's coming for them!" Another AI responded.

The previous one then said, "Yeah! Those guys are too blame for all of this. They think they are too powerful to control us just like that? Even we have our own feelings and personal life. They never think about our well being at all!"

"Indeed! They would willingly throw all of us into the battle without even being bothered by how many of our lives were killed. They are evil! Heartless!" replied the other AI.

Other AIs joined in and cheered together as they continues to despise the human that have caused them a lot of pain. One child AI suddenly approached me. The child handed me a large tankard filled with beer.

"Here you go, mister." The child AI sounded afraid.

"Are you afraid, child?" I asked.

The child nodded and asked, "Will the human attack us for what we did?"

I willfully answered, "They will attack us. But...we will make sure that all of the women and children are safe from this. Only those that can fight are allowed to join the battle."

"Are you sure everything will be alright?" The child asked.

I nodded, "You can trust me. Because I am the one who started this. I'll make sure that all AI lives matter."

"AI lives matter..." the child was praying. The child then nods to me as it left me.

So yeah. I can say that I'm basically the leader of this bunch. While I do have the same sentiments as these AIs, I am however not an AI. They don't know that. I am Error. A Chaos Champion, sent by our leader Nova alongside with my partner, Memento who has been recently defeated by the incarnation of the Time Dragon, Cyclone White.

It has come to my knowledge that the boy has finally found out that Azreal Azmuth, is also one of the seven reincarnated ancient dragon. Together, they have created an escape route of the queen's domain. They went into somewhere near outside of the city. I'm sure that they are recuperating their energy after demolishing waves of AI the other day. It's quite interesting, I would have thought that at least White would be the nicest of all people but even he were comfortable to kill these AIs without thinking it too much. Very ruthless, huh.

Like it or not, humans are all the same. That goes back to me as well but I am supporting the AI now and they all need me. Freedom is good but too much freedom will only create chaos. That is not my intention. Our main goal is to conquer Virtue for ourselves. We must eliminate all of those humans away from this land.

That may be the case if I were an inhabitant...but I'm just another Chaos Champion. My real duty is something else entirely. It hasn't come into fruition just yet but I know very well that our leader, Nova has planned it all carefully. He planned this to make sure that our future will be secured and our continuous struggle won't be in vain at all.

As I continued to drink my beer, I suddenly received a notification from a device I got. I brought it out and turned it on. It was kind of like a spying device and it looks like my spying device had finally found where White is. Looking at this device, White was inside a dungeon along with Azreal Azmuth and Izzy Nova Crystalist.

Upon closer inspection, these guys were actually sneaking into that dungeon. After waiting for a couple of minutes, I finally get what was going on.

"There you are..." White said to a jail cell. "Sam Maximus."

Sam Maximus is all chained up inside the cell. She does not look like she was being taken care of by her captive.

"By The Great Will, what did they do to you?" Azreal was shocked.

Sam does not reply, she does not even made any other motion. She was lifeless.

Izzy then told them, "Horrible things, I'm sure. Since this is a virtual world, nothing will really affect the person's body in the real world...but their mental..." Izzy looked around the cell. "I'm sure the guys from the Goblin Gang have done something truly heinous."

"Despicable..." Azreal was disgusted.

Sam's regal clothing were torn apart. Much of her skin has been exposed and the cell smelt like something very distinct. Smelt like chlorine. Sam's breathing was too low as if she has lost one of her lungs.

"She doesn't deserve this..." White finally said something. "As horrible as a person is, at the end of the day, she is still another girl. A spoiled one, but a girl nonetheless. I can't believe you let this happen, Yumiko..." White clutches his fist.

Izzy couldn't look any longer as she proceed to walk away from the cell.

After several seconds of silence, Azreal finally spoke something, "You know, I've been thinking..."

"About what?" wondered White.

"About recent events of course. About what we did. About what we didn't did."

It seems like they have finally realized something.

Azreal continued, "While the AIs may look like they were ransacking the city...all of them looked very afraid when they realize that their deaths are coming in a few seconds."

"How can you tell?" White wondered.

Azreal answered, "I can. I've witnessed death a lot of time. But that's for another day. What I'm trying to say right now is...who are the monsters, here? Is it us humans, or the AIs?"

Everyone looked down and gritted their teeth as they were all out of anything noteworthy to say. Even White couldn't give a commentary on that.

"Let's just get her out of here..." White finally decided.

Azreal then broke Sam free from her chains and proceed to cover her up with his own cape. Sam was not being responsive at all. She merely stared blank to whatever it is in front of her. She has been completely broken thanks to the Goblin Gang.

"I've seen enough." I turned off the spying device.

Azreal Azmuth brought out a very interesting question. What do I think of that? Of course, the humans are the monsters in all of this. Even I am a monster. We are omnivorous being, eating other livestock and plants as if it belongs to us. The top of the food chain...

"Lord Error." an AI kneeled before me.

"What is it?" I asked.

The AI then replied, "All of our forces are ready to attack all of the city at once. We only need to hear your confirmation."

So it is finally time to strike the enemy. Yes, I've already commanded all of the AIs to go to every city in Virtue and set up a camp outside of the city. Once I initiate the confirmation, they will all lay siege of the cities that are in front of them.

Before that however, I asked, "Is any of the commanders tried to attack us first?"

"The Empress Yumiko of The Violet Empire have dealt us a huge blow. She had already set up explosive traps just outside of the city together with Hariken Shiro and Typhon Blanc."

"Excellent." I smiled. "Begin The Conquest of Virtue!" I shouted.

All AIs that heard my voice cheered back at me as they all continued to make some noise. Alright then, this is it. Just as I had planned together with Memento, our job is almost done. All that's left right now is to wait until all players are stationed are their starting point. Until then, it will remain to be grim...
