"Okay, hold on." I asked Empress Yumiko to stop her story briefly. "You said that we're going in here and be put at a random location, right? So did I really ended up near your empire?"

The Empress laughs, "Don't be silly, Lord White. As much as I want that to happen, it isn't exactly what I got."

"And you also said that I'm supposed to be this Pantheon...why are you calling me a Lord, then?"

The Empress shakes her head and teased me, "Hold your horses there, my Lord. It's all in due time. There's no need to rush the tale. You need a careful context on what happened." The Empress then crosses her leg and mentioned, "As a matter of fact...you've told me of your 1st day here in Virtue. Apparently it was eventful on your part."

"Really?" I wondered.

"I'll try my best to make it sound just as you told me." she shrugged.

And so, Yumiko continued retelling back a story that was told to her by me who has for what ever reason forgotten about it.

We laid down on The Virtual Dive machine and at that point, everyone must not leave the machine at all cost as it may cause some error. The machine scanned out entire body and then it showed us how we looked like. They allowed us to customize ourselves - in other words, our avatar. The character we're playing as. It's not much of an avatar if its just us but that's a different topic to indulge.

Putting that aside, the only thing that I was allowed to customize was my base starting stat as well what other belongings I should bring from my Dimensional Inventory. The device could only bring 10 items however.

So what I decided to bring was two different dagger, one of it was the one the same dagger that I have always been using. The other one, I don't Yumiko have seen it yet. Perhaps even I have not shown it yet to her. But I did told her I brought another one. Then I brought some essentials stuff that I might be using as well as that one gift that Zenith gave me before I went to Sam to begin this whole ordeal.

I looked at the stats that I'm able to build upon and it listed, STR - Strength, STA - Stamina, AGI - Agility, INT - Intelligence, WIS - Wisdom and CHA - Charisma. So there was six of them. Also, the system has already assessed the closest it can to our real life counterpart. We can then further add it with a free 10 points.

My STR and STA and CHA was not something to be proud of that's for sure. Other than that, my AGI, INT and WIS seems was good enough. I decided to to push through the extra points on STA and AGI. Was there any reason? Probably, but I couldn't remember.

Once that was done, in a mere seconds later my entire body felt like being transported to a whole different world. It felt surreal. Even though I know that it was a virtual world. Virtue feels like real life. I could feel, smell, hear, and see it just like I am here. I could probably also taste over here. It was an interesting experiment that's for sure.

But enough dilly dallying, I got into Virtue resting under a huge tree that was placed on top of a mountain. Yes, I was lucky enough to be transported into a high place which allows me to look around the surrounding mountain area. I was able to witness what seems to be like a world where I used to read about. It felt amazing. I was able to see a couple of Lords from the vantage point. Almost all that I saw had their 100 AI troops. Looks like they are still learning the basics of the world. While they are learning, I was also prompted with a long list of tutorial for me.

Having no other choice, I read it all under the huge tree. The only thing that Virtue is different than the real world was that there was no floating display in front of us like a menu in most video games. This here was where the comparison begins.

As I was reading through the tutorial, I suddenly heard the sound of a rustling bush near me. I stopped reading and decided to investigate what it was. As cautious as I am, I threw a rock at the bush to see what it could be. There was no response. Until suddenly, an eagle jumped out of the bush. It was injured thanks to the rock I threw. It didn't look like it was trying to fight back.

I tried getting close to it and I found out that it was already injured before I threw the rock. Apparently some player tried to test out their aiming skill and shot the eagle. It quickly tried to find a landing spot before they end up crashing down themselves. Thanks to the 10 items that I can bring into Virtue, I was able to tend the wounds of the eagle, momentarily.

"I wonder which Lord did this...Whoever it is, they are indeed a sharpshooter. Better keep in mind then... I told to myself.

And not a moment for me to rest, this time another rustle came from a bush nearby. I didn't try to throw a rock this time however. That was a mistake. As suddenly a wolf jumped out of the bush. I stuttered as I quickly fell down to the ground. The wolf wasn't aiming for me. It was going for the eagle. It's trying to eat an easy target.

Of course, I'm not going to let that happen. With the few tutorials I have already read, I know that I can still use my real life magic abilities and so I stopped the time and rushed to the wolf and stabbed it. Time moves back to normal and both of us fell on the ground. The wolf was howling in pain as I pressed the dagger deeper into its flesh. And there it was, I was able to discern once more that this is a virtual world. The wolf stabbed region was digitizing itself. It still bleeds however. With that being said, I dragged down my dagger and rip apart the flesh of the wolf.

The wolf was still alive as it helplessly trying to get out of harms way. As I was about to get close to the dying wolf however, I heard loud drums coming from down the mountain, this is where the competition begins and it is my duty to observe...
