I was laying in my bed
Listening to the silent song of the night
I could hear the cars on the highway
And the wind passing by
But then
I heard that plane
Breaking the silence
It's been a couple of sleepless nights
Since i haven't heard them
And I'll be honest, I missed them so much.
But then it went on it's way
Disappearing in the horizon.
Then it kinda hit me
It's the same with people.
You move on, you have a life
You forget they even were in yours once
But then when you see them
Your eyes start shining
And you suddenly remember
How much you actually miss them.
But don't forget,
They've got a life too
And sooner or later, they vanish
Leaving you with a hole
And nostalgia.
