The thing i miss the most sometimes
Is just a touch.
I miss that kiss on my forehead
My lovely dreams at night instead
Of nightmares,
And opening my eyes with you in view.
Who needs a better morning tho?
Us in our bed, legs tangled under blankets
And your soft hand in mine.
I'll be sincere
Having you near
That's all I ever needed to feel strong
To never feel wrong
And to feel woman, for just a little while.
I think of it as a
Superstition in my head
Crawling in my bed
And waking up from time to time to remind me
That a man is not a necessity, it's a luxury
But late at the end of today
I realize;
That luxury is all i need to feel whole inside
At least for one night.
