To Who I Loved Once.

I remember you,
With golden hair and big, wide eyes that
Deliberately had me falling in love
Without you even meaning to.
I was a child when we first met
And throughout the years,
Still remained the same.
My first love, the most honest one of all...
But who am i kidding;
We were full of lies.
Do you remember it?
We fell deeply, but it frightened us,
So lying was sometimes compulsory
To not lose one another.
I can't say it wasn't true,
Because i felt things and you did too.
I remember your dashing smell
Assail my nostrils
Constructing it's way onto my brain
And locking itself deep down
In the vault of memories
And my collection of
World's best colognes.
You shined so bright whenever
You blessed me with a pure, sincere smile.
I'd make a fool out of myself
Just to see you laugh,
To see that light in them showy eyes
And feel the storm inside me
Gently calming down.
There's days when I feel
So miserable about myself, with no escape
From my own mind traps,
But your glow is still inside me
Lighting me up whenever I extinguish.
I said "I love you"
And never looked back
Even though you went your own way,
Leaving me with none but one option;
Doing the same.

A heart like I've never seen before,
Manners of a gentleman

Your eyes were screaming of joy

You'd still find some inside
And devote with everyone you cared of.
Your temper made it feel like a puzzle
And no matter how desperate I was,
I couldn't figure it out.
I thought I'd have fun by trying,
But it led to no coup d'état.
However, i didn't give up.
Quite naive, don't you think?
It's magical, what made me fall in love;
As if you had in advance
A place in your soul, prepared
For my every single thought.
Nonetheless, I forced myself to
Fall out of love.
It led to the point where i lost count of days,
Couldn't leave my room
And cried every night
On my mother's shoulder.
It was time, because it was hurting
And I moved on, without any doubt.
Still keeping you in my thoughts
As one of the most amazing human beings
I've ever been entitled to meet.
