Getting a tour of the island seems pretty amazing... sunlight, jungle canopy. The clicking of palm fronds of tropical trees beyond compare, greenery from EVERY era.
But it's nothing compared to seeing the brachiosaurus for the first time.
Play the brachiosaurus sound and the song from the soundtrack (at the 4:50 minute mark in Journey to the Island if you want the exact music cue).
Describe the elegance of its body construction, the skin patterns, the way it eats from the trees, how it stands and crashes its feet to the ground. Describe how your players have to shield their eyes against the sun as they crane and pop their necks back to see its full height. Let your players feel totally immersed in the moment like they're seeing it for the first time on screen and the wonder they felt then.
It's late afternoon.

Jurassic Park DND One-Shot 5e
AdventureUsing the rules of Dungeons & Dragons 5e I wrote and ran a Jurassic Park One-Shot for my friends for my birthday in June 2019. The idea is a "prologue" that ties in directly to the events of the first Jurassic Park film by Steven Spielberg.
