Velociraptors attack the jeep just inside the gate. Have everyone make saving throws (dexterity I think). Whoever fails their saving throw is gonna get yanked out through the broken glass window. This gives the players incentive to get out of the jeep when the jeep is no longer safe and they want to save their new friend.
Five velociraptors attack the party. Heads plunging through the windows, ripping open the doors, coming through the windshield. We'll see how the party reacts! The party will be able to fight and kill in self-defense four of the velociraptors. Not all five. Leave #5 (the alpha female from the movie) alive.
They will see the BIGGEST female velociraptor attack and brutally tear apart the small one from the dog crate, and this will give them a chance to run and escape while she is distracted by killing the yearling. If the party watches in horror and takes too long to decide whether or not to run, you can play the hunting "caw caw" sound that the raptors make in the kitchen from the film, the big one will leave of her own volition.
After initial combat for the players and all that is left is the alpha female, Muldoon has a team waiting with sleeper-darts. They faked the mating call and shoot her down when she arrives, and they put her in the big cage.

AdventureUsing the rules of Dungeons & Dragons 5e I wrote and ran a Jurassic Park One-Shot for my friends for my birthday in June 2019. The idea is a "prologue" that ties in directly to the events of the first Jurassic Park film by Steven Spielberg.
