I sipped on my wine while listening to my friend, Leigh, talking about her bastard of an ex. We're on a couch. It's Friday night so we decided to go bar hopping. "I'm not sure." tanging nasabi ko.

"What? It's Saturday! Kaya I'm sure wala kang pasok sa trabaho niyan. And you'll just gonna sulk yourself with your books." nakataas ang kilay nitong sabi. I remained silent.

"Wait, don't tell me you haven't moved on yet? Teka, naging kayo ba??'' napamulagat nitong tanong.

"Kung wala ka rin namang gagawin sa araw na yun, attend na tayo. Baka makita ko ulit ang crush ko dati. At magkaroon kami ng unexpected love story!" may excitement sa boses nitong sabi. I only rolled my eyes at her.

''Oops! My bad." nakangisi niyang sabi sabay takip ng kanyang bibig. ''Still, dumalo tayo sa alumni homecoming." hirit niya at inisang lagok ang black label drink.

"Yeah, right." labag sa puso kong sang-ayon.

I scan my surroundings hanggang sa napadako ang aking tingin sa grupo ng mga lalaking pawang mga businessmen. Shock is an understatement when I saw a captivating man who is intently looking at me. Damn. What is he doing here? Ang huli kong balita sa kanya ay nasa Europe siya! I close my eyes thinking I am just tipsy and I might just be seeing things; But when I open my eyes, I gasped in surprise. Why is he walking towards my direction? What the fuck! Agad kong nilingon si Leigh upang maaya ng umalis but heck! She's already snoring! This girl! Porke't siya ang nagmamay-ari ng bar na ito ay pwede na siyang matulog sa kanyang inuupuan!
