i woke up to a tapping noise. i rolled over and looked at my window just to see jaden standing there. i got up and opened the window. "what are you doing here?" i asked, he grabbed my cheeks and gave me a kiss. "i have a date planned for us today. so go get ready. it's nothing fancy just be comfortable." he said, keeping a hold of my hand until he made it to my bed.
He made up my bed for me and then sat down on the edge of it. He had on some grey shorts and a t shirt, and his checkered vans i got him for his birthday a couple months ago. he looked really good today.
it was now late april and we were getting close to graduating. Jaden had gotten really popular on this app called TikTok. It's amazing for him, he's been posting like covers and stuff on there and some funny videos. I'm so proud of him, he's always wanted to be famous.
I put on a sea foam green cropped sweatshirt and some high waisted shorts with my matching checkered vans. i put my hair in a side braid and threw on some earrings. I did some subtle makeup and turned around to go find jaden. I saw him sitting on my bed, he noticed me walk out of the bathroom and he looked me up and down. "i swear you look good in everything you put on"he said. "i love you" "are you ready to go?" i nodded my head and got my purse. We walked downstairs to leave.
"hey guys! what are y'all up to?" my mom asked. "we are about to go on a date, it's a surprise so i don't exactly know" i told her. she blew us a kiss goodbye "okay please be safe! i love y'all" she said as we walked out the door. I hopped in jaden's passenger seat and he turned on the radio. The top was off of his jeep and and the doors were off and the wind was blowing through the car. this was the most perfect day. He was holding my hand while he was driving and he kept looking over and smiling at me. After almost 3 hours of driving we arrive at some lookout over the mountains.
We got out of the car and walked around to the trunk and my eyes lit up at what i saw back there. There was a bunch of blankets, and pillows back there. "We get to watch the sunset back here." he said with a huge smile on his face. I ran up to him and jumped on him, giving him a huge hug. He kissed my cheek and then put me down. We set everything up in the back and set up the perfect area. We made a couple TikTok's together and definitely took a bunch of pictures together. I edited all of my pictures and decided on the one i wanted to post. (A/N: rip mads and jaden )): it just worked for the picture.)

"what does that comment mean jaden" i said punching him in the arm. "hush and watch the sunset you're gonna miss the whole thing"he said with a huge smile.
he had his arm under me and would occasionally lean down and kiss my forehead. when the sun set we packed everything up and went back to chattanooga to jadens house. we ended up laying in his hammock. his mom came outside and started talking to us.
"i saw that proposal comment jaden. Do you have something you need to tell me?" she giggled and pulled a chair out from their table to talk to us. i propped my head on jadens stomach "thats exactly what i wanted to know and he told me to hush." i said laughing. she took a sip of her wine and laughed also.
"okay okay, i don't know why everybody's so shocked that i said that. we've been together for almost 8 years why wouldn't we mention that. if we weren't so young you would've had a ring 5 years ago."he said throwing his hands up, his mom raised an eyebrow and stood up to leave. "okay, i'll leave you two alone." and with that she walked into the house. i could see my parents in the living room laughing about something on the TV, i want a love like our parents have had through our whole lives.

I held down the picture and sent the love reaction back to my mom. I saved the picture to my camera roll before finley could see my phone, i'm pretty sure she was almost asleep anyways, she hadn't moved in a while. i edited the picture and posted it to my instagram.
