yes he is, and no we aren't. we talked on the phone the other day about his song and everything that happened. then his new gf asked him who he was talking to and he hung up. he texted me like hours later and said he was coming to see me and that he'd see me in a couple days.

i put on some grey sweatpants and a tight cropped black tank top, i curled my hair loosely and put on some makeup. i put on some music and cleaned my apartment, when i was done i had a makeshift photo session with my tripod, because i needed something to post.

after i sat down on the couch i realized it had been hours since jaden texted me. I grabbed my keys and slid on some tennis shoes before heading to the airport just in case.
time skip
i parked in a visitor parking lot and slid my chair back to listen to music and wait for jaden's text. after about 30 minutes he texted me. I pulled up the curb and saw him standing there. i almost didn't recognize him. He looked so much different then when i saw him in california last.
"hey fin" he gave a soft smile when i stood in front of him. "hey jaden..." i couldn't help but smile because it had been so long since i saw him. i helped him get his stuff in the car and then we drove back to my apartment.
time skip again
"are you hungry or anything?" i asked once we got settled in my apartment again. he looked around and sat down at a bar stool in the kitchen. "got any cereal?" he asked with a smile on his face. i nodded my head and made him and myself a bowl of our favorite cereal, frosted flakes. we sat on the couch and watched the office just like old times. He turned and looked at me. "so why are you here?" i asked, realizing how bitchy that sounded after i said it.
"actually, i have no idea. I told mads i needed a break and that i needed to clear my head. She has no idea where i am but i'm sure she'll put it together when she sees our instagram pictures." i shook my head and took a sip of my water. "so what are you expecting to come from this trip?" i just needed answers as to why he was currently sitting on my couch. "i just want you to know how sorry i am about the whole situation and why we had to break up. i never wanted that to happen that way and i just feel like i needed to tell you that in person."
"i get that jaden but i don't understand why now you decide to come out here. if you would've put in this much effort when it happened maybe we wouldn't have broken up in the first place. also why are you just now telling me you and mads are broken up. im not gonna be a rebound for you. i'm sorry." i said he shook his head immediately.
" no no no, thats not my intentions. i want to see how your life is. i want to just be with you.... can we just pretend we never broke up while im here and that there was never a mads, and that me and you could still do anything as long as we were together." "it's not that simple jaden. i still love you and pretending that none of this ever happened will not make this any easier for me.." "that's the point... i want to feel the connection with you again finley.. i want to try things again. even thought i said we couldn't do long distance. i just want you."
