My favorite color has always been red. When I was a child, growing up in a wealthy family, my parents would buy me many things, simply because they were red. Strawberries, red cake icing, red ornaments on the Christmas tree, red ballet slippers, red tutus, red walls in my room. And when I turned 16, a beautiful red Camaro. I was simply addicted to the color. I wanted it everywhere. I wanted it in my closet, on my car, in my room, on my food. And red food always tasted the sweetest.
Aviva was a such a sweet girl. And I couldn't bring myself to resist her cherry red lipgloss. She tasted like the sweetest kind of chocolate, and I didn't care if either of us could breathe. I wanted her. So I would have her. "Venus..." She whispered my name against my lips, and it was the sweetest sound that I had ever heard. "You can't trust him," I heard her say. "He's lying to you."
"I know." I attacked her neck, biting and licking until she mewled under me, enticing me further. Even her flesh... It was so sweet. "H-he had a terrible reputation hundreds o-of years ago," she panted out as I nipped her ear. "His name means Blind God.." I paused and glanced into her half-lidded eyes, a sharp remark on the tip of my tongue. But I held it in. It could wait. He could wait.
Time passes quickly when you're having fun. I was tired, and I knew she was too, but I was no where near finished with her. I had yet to glean from her what I truly wanted. When I was 14, my mother bought me my first makeup kit. I always like the red lipstick best. I felt beautiful in it. I felt beautiful in my dark red prom dress. I felt beautiful in red.
She screamed into my hand that covered her mouth as the Blade dug into her sternum. She fought against me, her form shifting into something far more regal than any human body. I clamped my hand around her muzzle, muffling her growls and whimpers. Her tails lashed wildly, and I cursed as one sent the bedside lamp crashing into the floor. But it did not shatter. Her claws left stinging scrapes along my arms, but I pressed the Blade deeper and deeper, red staining her gleaming white fur.
Red colored the cream bedsheets. Red dripped onto the brown carpet. Red adorned my pale white skin. She released a final wheeze of breath before her body went limp. My instincts were one step ahead of my brain as my nails elongated into claws as I snapped her ribs and cut out her heart. More red stained my teeth. More red slid down my throat. More red covered my hot skin.
I took a shower and blow dried my hair, silently wondering why the platinum blonde had yet to begin stripping from my roots. I hummed to myself as I finished filleting the body and placing the parts in the mini fridge beside the bed. I opened one of the cokes in the door and sipped on it as I contemplated what to do about the sheets. I removed them swiftly, pouting upon noticing that quite a bit of blood had seeped into the mattress itself.
I couldn't do anything about that, so I simply replaced the bloodied sheets with new ones, and carefully creeped out of my room. The house was dark and silent, so I made a break towards to garbage chute. Disposing of the evidence, I felt remarkably better, but I knew that I was on a time sensitive mission. I quite liked Caleb and Noen, but I didn't know Cap, and the hatred Kai seemed to harbor for me was mutual.
I had a long
red
road ahead of me.
A/N: This chapter was made mostly as a filler to better explain Venus' plan. I promise the next chapter will be longer.
