We've been driving for an hour and we have about an hour and a half left to go
Lily fell asleep awhile ago and me and Zack have just been talking about random things
suddenly as we take a turn Lily starts to cry
i turn around and she's still asleep but crying
"hey can you pull over really quick" i ask Zack with concern
"yeah yeah of course"
he pulls over and i step out of the car over to Lily's side
i take her out of her car seat and hold her
She may be 5 but she's still super small that she could be looked at as she's 3
she came early and so not everything developed
therefore she has a medical condition and needs a lot of care but i don't mind she's my babygirl and id do anything for her
"shh stop crying what's wrong" i say moving her hair out of her face
Zack starts to drive again and she opens her eyes
"Mo-mommy" she whimpers
"hey it's okay what's wrong"
"i-i want you to ho-hold me"
"don't worry i won't let you go what happened"
"bad dream"
"about"
"m-my mommy dying"
"aw baby" i kiss her forehead and she cries into my chest
"shh don't worry i'm right here i'm alive princess i promise it's okay"
"it seemed so real"
"i know but don't you worry. im perfectly okay, now look outside at all the cars"
"they going fast momma"
"yes they are. look at that one"
"it's red! my favorite color"
"that's mine too"
"twins!" we high five and i laugh
"can i put you in your seat or do you still want me to hold you"
"in my seat... but i wanna hold your hand"
"good" i put her back and she takes my hand playing with my wedding ring
"is this the ring daddy gave you"
"yup before you were born"
"that's so cool"
"yes it is. now we still have an hour to go try and nap still"
"okay momma i love you"
"i love you more my princess" i kiss her soft baby hand and she shuts her eyes
I can't believe i made her, that little human is so perfect and to think she was just a little egg inside me
this story was really just a "filler chapter" cause i didn't know what to write in between so i decided a cute thing about their relationship and how Lily is as a person
