Wisps of air fall around my ears,
Telling me sweet nothings about you,
From a far away land I sit and worry
While you whisper and tell me it's all okay.

My heart stirs at the whiff of your breath,
So full of honey and lemon coated love,
Caressing my worries away with a graze
While whispering sweet nothings of the day.

And slowly I shut my eyes,
Letting the winds course through me whole,
Your aura now mingles with mine
Whispering sweet nothings of
your sun and hay.

Your fingers run warm,
my thoughts grow fuzzy,
The gust grows tepid,
my mind in turmoil,
I sense you less and less
with each passing wave,
Whispering sweet nothings
into nay say.

And finally the wind passes along,
Having journeyed from a thousand miles,
Only now it travels back to where
it truly belonged,
Carrying back
my sweet nothings
for the night
to stay.
