Have you ever felt power
in choice?
It is sweeter than any drug,
exhilarating than any fame,
rewarding than any inheritance,
and perhaps the most free
you'd ever be.
Even beyond what
countries promise as democracy,
families promise as free will,
friends promise as zero pressure,
spouses promise as space.
It is entirely
about you.
To choose for yourself.
To fend for yourself.
To decide for yourself.
To surrender for yourself.
Yes, indeed
the power of choice
is supreme to everything else,
for the power of choice
is precisely that.
Power.
