Part 9: The friendship and Betrayal

Back to the realm, Fate went to a dark side of the forest and meet someone, the guy is hiding on the tree and give her a map. The guy promised something to Fate making the lady smile and accept the task he wants her to do.

The next day, Faye give Beauty the map and stating that the river can be found inside the forbidden forest and has the ability to change the destiny of anyone even the faith of those immortal.

Because of her desperation to change the faith of Hanoi, Beauty went to the river to found the things that can change the book of destiny but instead found a glowing rock that when she touch disappeared. Soon she found Hanoi and others where in the river and realized that their land changes as the soil turn to sand and green trees turn to yellow. Due to her recklessness, the Creator punish her but Beauty is surprise when he only send her to the river of Fire instead to vanishing her existence.

Back to the present the man show himself to Yuki and the lady gasp in surprise to see an old familiar face, Caleb. She tried to control her emotion but the memory of his face hunt her while she was put in prison waiting for the verdict to pass. It was Caleb to insult her and even taunt her for the misery is cause. Back then Yuki didn't understand why the guy treat her that way until she experience to live in human land and understand their personality. She found that their land is not different to human since they even experience jealousy and hatred, she understand that her position is different to him back their and believe that he envies her on the treatment that the creator gave to her.

Being naive back then, Yuki doesn't know that not everyone loves her and most of them belong to the group who records the death. But as time passes by and Yuki able to distinguish the personality that a human have and learned that not all can be pleased so she choose the path of not having an interest to others.

Having her emotion in control Yuki manage to have a conversation to the man and even state that she want the decision be brought up to the board so fairness will be pat of the decision. Abel looks at Yuki intently making the awkward situation and when she brought up about it the guy just told him that she has a knowledge about the flow and for a moment Yuki forgot to act like an average woman and talk to him sarcastically. The two create a intense glare that leads to heard a thunderstorm in the middle of sunny weather. The chairman manage distract them and soon the weather turn normal. Yuki didn't care about the changes but Abel notice it and just stay quiet to the happening.

Yuki returned to their house in a pissed mood and even her parents didn't dare to ask stating that she is stress. The whole night a thunderstorm can be heard but did not rain confusing  the department that monitored the weather. 

The next day, Mark approach Yuki in a playful manner but seeing her mood he decided to stop, thunderstorm are still heard and it makes a confusion to the people. Time pass and in lunch time, Mark decided to approach his friend only then Yuki realized that her mood affect the weather. Mark is trilled by the discovery and even ask his friend some of her ability. She explained that she can only make rain if her mood is gloomy and will not make any other changes such as stooping a typhoon making Mark momentarily disappoint. Soon he tease her about her bad moods but Yuki didn't explain making the guy die in curiosity. She even divert their conversation about the even that he and Mirasol went and Mark acts like a child again while he tell the happening a day before, how Mirasol's act convince that she is his girlfriend and even throw a tantrum tp create a scene. Yuki feels pity to her friend as she knows it will only brings trauma to her. After the end of the day, Yuki call her friend and ask to meet up. They decided to meet in a nearby plaza and there Mirasol tell the scene she needs to ask to stop the date of Mark, as she speak her body show awkwardness and soon buried her face in Yuki's chest to to being shame and the lady just pat her head like a child and Mirasol just continue to curse Mark for what he ask her to do while hiding.

Yuki open up about meeting a guy whom she believe is Caleb and Mirasol stops on her mini tantrum upon hearing his name. Yuki notice her interest but decided not to mind it as she continue to tell Mirasol the details. As she went home Yuki is surprise to see her parents happiness as they told her that her little brother finally land a job and no longer in her support. They even show her a new house deed stating that it was given thru charity and Yuki knows who's behind just smiled at their happy reaction of blessing. They even informed her that her father will now work as a company driver and she is not surprise to know when Mi Ja is the employer but she acts according tho their flow to avoid suspicion of her knowing. Yuki found that mi Ja will also work in her company and curious to see her attitude towards work. She knows that the girl live her entire life abroad and was surprise to see that she is willing to work in the middle instead of working above. She didn't hide the fact of her being a chairman's granddaughter and a president's eldest child. But her willingness to learn is clearly seen and Yuki realized that time changes the young girl into a grown up lady she is now.

The next day, Yuki calls Mirasol but her phone is unattended so she just ignore it and just continue on her daily routine. That day, Henry calls for a meeting for their monthly improvement. The room filled with awkwardness when everyone found out about his real behavior. As the gossip is real about him being a perfectionist that even Yuki having a hard time adjusting to his demand. He even the one who talk on the room as no one dared to explain their side due to the fear he shown. Soon the meeting is over and everyone who attend is shock by their team leader's attitude, one of them even stated that he acts like a manager and believed that in his family background, the manager might also be under him.

Henry heard their gossip but just stay silent, his loneliness is seen by Yuki as she tried to remember his scent. She unknowingly follow him all the way to the rooftop in trying to smell his scent. She was so mesmerized to the smell that she even paste her face to his chased until he call on to her. She immediately let herself go causing for her to push him and fall on the ground. Henry glared at her same as Yuki.

After the tension drops, Henry ask for her action in which she can't construct a reason but insist that she is not a pervert and continuously apologized for her action. Henry's mood brightened and laugh at Yuki's silly antics. At that they stay in the rooftop and Yuki brace her courage to ask why he acts like that in the room. Acting like he own a company despite his title as a team leader. At first he is hesitant to answered but give in the way as Yuki continue to pout at him. He explained that manager is his original position but decided to go on being a team leader first to know the team he will work with. But his personality emerge and act as a manager despite his titled. He told her that the rumors where true, he work in a good company because of his background but not because he is connected to the owner, in fact he is the son's owner and Yuki is shocked to the news as well as Henry who is wondered by his behavior to the lady. He is confused by telling her everything about him despite knowing her a little but Yuki assure him that the details will be hidden as she has no interest of saying it and gaining nothing to tell about him. Henry ask about her relationship to Mark since he is his cousin and Yuki surprise more at the revelation but Henry told her that Mark has no knowledge to their relationship since he also went back to the country upon university and never meet Mark in person but only by the story of other relative.

He told her that Mark is well known as a trouble maker and good for nothing man things that Yuki disagreed of, since she understand her friend and knows that he is always labeled wrong by his own family. She said that Mark is the guy who knows how to have fun and even teach her to herself. Henry is amazed to her description and wanted to know his cousin on his own point of view in terms that Yuki is happy of.

Mark decided to have lunch outside and even file a long break because he went somewhere to a new restaurant. As he walks Mark happens to see Mirasol meeting someone to a nearby coffee shop. He decided to know what the're talking about so instead of going to his original plan the guy entered the shop and sit nearby quietly so Mirasol will not know his presence. He is curious as the girl is having her best make up and it is the time he saw her smile genuinely and was captivated by it.

Mirasol meet a guy and Mark tried to have a better look since he feel jealous when  she plastered a beautiful smile to him but his back remains hidden to him. But he tried his best to listen and was surprise when a named Yuki is mentioned. He tried to approach them and Mirasol is surprise by his presence and told the guy to leave. As he stand Mark saw the man's face and it is Abel that Mirasol is having a meeting.
