Part 8: The Goal might change a Little

After having a conversation with the chairman, Yuki manage to try what he advice and decided not to quit her current work and also not to push Mark. For the first time in hundred years Yuki called the creator but didn't received a respond, it only angered her as she believe that the creator truly abandon her and Mirasol. She remembered when they last have a conversation and the creator even said that she will experience more pain due to the countless faith she change and each of it, she will received the pain of stabbing.

On her first time on human world Yuki can't believed that she will experience love to a man whose she only wants to have a good life but their destiny is live short as the man died together with his family. Because of that she vows to protect his family line forever until his life change and found the stone they need. She even promised to vanish as part of the punishment she received. She reminisced the moment when the creator give them punishment, back then Fate supposed to be vanish for eternity so as Hanoi as it was his destiny. But she beg for the creator for mercy and willing to sacrifice her existence for them. They were confuse as the Creator spare the life of two and didn't vanish Beauty. Instead he only gave Fate a task to find the stone and for Hanoi to reborn again and again until the stone be found. But he still receive a punishment of living a hard life making Beauty counter by staying at him and making his life easy. At first she thought that she out-stand the fate by making him live in a glamorous life but it only makes the impact of the consequences more painful as they died in injustice. And Beauty only knows to amend for it is to make his next generation live in peaceful and waiting for him to reincarnate again. But she has no idea on what generation he will be born so she decided to stick to Kim's family until her appeared again.

The next day, Yuki goes to work and saw Mark who decided to distance himself but Yuki corners him and ask if he like to be friend to her, it surprise him but he agreed. The two becomes friend and spend most time together. They even show it to others and didn't care about the gossip, knowing that they will not be punish for the friendship they had and only love relationship is only not allowed. Yuki also knows that it will not happen since her heart were already closed long time ago and is waiting for a man. She also stick to her goal of putting back tings and vanish peacefully. She follow the chairman's advice to have fun but still think of a way to find the stone, but still no hint were given to them that Mirasol even wanted to give up. She knows how Mirasol miss the realm and the family she was back there that is the reason why she never took a chance to has a relationship and just like her, she shout her self to the world. Everyone knows her a party girl but never have a relationship in those life she pretend, they even went from one place to another to find clue of the stone but still didn't sight even a single.

From Europe to Asia to America, they even went island to find any clue but to no avail. That is also the reason they do to change identity, and speaking of changes the university student that Yuki once pretend already send a news about her passing and being one of the board member the chairman decide to press no charges to anyone who arranged the said vacation.

Days past, Yuki finally embrace her new unexpected identity but until now she still has no clue of why things happen. She want to visit Maya in the land of Dead hoping to find hint but has no idea of the entry. Also on the other hand she found Mirasol and Mark being closed which do a favor to her since the guy stop pestering her.

One day while at work she happens to pass in the line of interview and accidentally bump on one applicant. His name is Henry and Yuki smell something on him but can't recognized where she first encounter it. She just continue on her daily routine but the scent didn't left her memory and still bother by it.

Weeks past and she found out that the guy she bump into was hired in their company and will work as their team head, a replacement of one of the mean girl that always bullied her. She decided to quit her job because of the fear that Yuki gave to her. Her resignation is a good news to everyone who also become a victim for her attitude and knowing that the lady only brings a family background and doesn't have a qualification of being a good leader. They hope that the guy who replace her will change the work environment. Yuki doesn't care about the event that happens and just continue to do her routine. On Henry's first day he look for some development that his subordinates have and having an interest to Maya's file. He is also curious about the gossip surrounding the girl as everyone talks about her sudden personality change upon involving in accident. And so that is why he first talk to her, according to Henry Yuki's performance is excellent as she manage to submit her report on time but the poor of attendance makes it impossible for her to have a salary increased but the lady is not interested about the money which only add the curiosity to the guy. He also found out that the girl is living in poverty and before the accident she already request the increased but only deny due to her mean supervisor. Yuki shut his curiosity by stating that she has her own ways to meet her needs and has no idea transferring to other company since she found a reason to stay.

Henry just burst her bubble stating that she works in a rank and file and can leave wherever she wants since employee's decision is base on their own accord. But he promise to her that a great performance deserve a great price making it clear that he wants her to his team, to it Yuki ended their conversation with a promise of doing her job properly but about the attendance she can't promised since she is a lazy person. She run outside while Henry is shouting at her and even throwing small things. This interaction was seen by the whole group and gasp at the boldness of Yuki, Mark also saw it and just nod his head finding that Yuki started to have a socialization.

At lunch everyone fantasized by the looks of Henry and one of the employee on other department recognized him as his schoolmate, he told that Henry is well known to be a perfectionist is is work and with a straight forward personality. He is also a smart person winning debate and academic quizzes back when he was studying and everyone also knows him due to the merit he brings to the school. He also explained that many girl were swoon by him due to his good looks and prominent background and believe that him having in the company also has a work of his family.

Mark hear about their conversation looks dejected and Yuki buried his face to the plate making everyone around them surprise. Once the event sink in, Mark looks at her and demand explanation but Yuki just calmly explained that he should be buried by the news he heard about the new team leader. Mark just smiled at her and explained that he has only a family and has no competent personality just like Henry. Yuki having no remorse to her word state that he should just stick to his own and make his life happy, Mark look at her knowing that she didn't give a change to have fun in her previous life and becomes pitiful for the lady and suddenly Yuki buried his face again in the plate making the conversation awkward but found themselves laugh at their silly antics.

The day finished and Yuki is surprise to saw Mirasol on their company lobby but what even more surprising is finding that she is there to pick Mark. By that Mirasol admit to Yuki that they made a bet that Yuki will soon realized to have fun and she loose making the poor lady become a slave to a pestering guy. Yuki laugh at her fate and soon Mark join them since Mirasol is obligated to drive him to the date his family orchestrated but Yuki knows the reason and advice Mirasol on her acting skill things that she doesn't understand. Realizing that what he wants to do, Mark grab Yuki and ask her why she acts like she know so much about his antics and Yuki admit that sometimes she feels like she understand Mark and even found some memories in Maya's head about the guy whom she believe Maya has a crush on.

They went separately and Yuki decide to visit the chairman, she stayed in his room while waiting for him to arrive and as she looks around, Yuki saw some documents and realized that the chairman intend to give blessing to Maya's family by giving them a house and work under the disguise of charity event and Yuki knows that her family will not reject the privilege that has been offered to them and smile at the realization of helping the family of the woman whose body has been inhabit by her.

Soon the chairman is arrived with a teen aged girl and Yuki stared at her trying to remember where she seen before. The chairman introduced her as his first granddaughter and Yuki gasp when she realized that it is the little girl whom she live before when she was living in New York, a spoiled girl who didn't even afraid of her. She can't believe that it has been so long since she saw the girl that she named Mi Ja, she greet her like old times and Yuki even pout when the girl mention about her average look. Mi Ja is familiar to their story and even become closed to Mirasol.

The Chairman informs Yuki about a new investor who seems interested in joining their board and even wanted to meet her since she is the fabled stock holders who rarely attend meeting but is known for a wide knowledge about the company flow. And having heard a lot of compliment, Yuki decided to meet that person and they went to the living room to meet the said guy. The Chairman introduced him as Abel Joseph Cruz, a self made millionaire who wants to join the company. Yuki only saw his back and when he turn around she was shocked to see an old familiar face.
