Part 20: The Right Place

The Tree of Life give a fruit every thousand years so many creature of the land where overjoyed when that happens, the time comes and the land rejoice for a new life it give. It is a boy and from then the Creator already knows it's purpose, he named him Caleb who has a fate of protecting the book of Destiny. It was a big role to fit in because only the boy and the Creator are the one who can write on the divine book.

All immortals showered the kid with joy and luxury but as he grows up the Creator notice that he becomes more curious in his surrounding and sometimes there all things that he already know before being told. He is also concern to the life of individual and even sometimes wanted to change someone's destiny by looking at the other world. His curiosity worried the Creator as the boy continue to be exposed to the other world the more his behavior towards them change. He even manage to learn the truth of the land at a young age, he realized that he is one of the chosen whom will handle a big role for the land and the living of others outside the palace. Learning at a very young age of the things that surround him did not bring good as a child look at them in a lowly status. So the Creator decide to expose him in the death to be able to learn the value of everyone's life.

He beg the Tree of Life to give someone whom will protect the Book to Caleb as he might change the destiny of every creation once he hold the task despite learning to appreciate their value. So the Tree gives him another child, it was a girl that everyone cherish. She grow up in a pampered life and most of everyone's attention went on her making Caleb feels envy. The girl is task to handle the seal so that no one will able to got near of the Book. The stone is the variable object in their land as it holds the power and all the knowledge to maintain the balance of the land and even the other side. The Creator notice that the girl cherish everyone around her making all the creature feels warm by the girl's presence. In that he decided to give all his love for the immortal and almost left out Caleb as the boy continue to grow his hatred toward the girl.

One day he went to see the Book but having no seal the boy can't enter the sacred place, but having a role for the object he manage to have a glimpse of the events and find some useful knowledge. Caleb is amazed to learn that the book contains all the events that happen and will happen to the future of all creature in their realm and even to the human world. He realized that having a seal with him can grant the boy all the information he needs to maintain the love that once he experience. But as he grows up and continue to be exposed to the land of the dead, Caleb's greediness also grow making the boy wanted to rule all the land, this cause him to hatch a plan to vanish Beauty but instead the Creator send her to the River of Fire to protect the woman's emotion so the stone will not be used by him.

The man decided to travel as well to the living so he can follow Beauty and monitored her growth. He even send some misery for the lady and sometimes create coincident so Beauty won't be able to find the reincarnation of Hanoi, by this her longing for the man will continue to grow as Beauty continue to learn all kinds of emotion.

Back to the present, Yuki slowly approach the Book with the stone in her hand while Abel at her back. He wanted to touch the Book to be able to re-write his Destiny and become a ruler of both world. He feels annoy to the action of the girl as she tried to buy time to be able to think of the plan in rescuing her friend but none came out until a voice from behind them shout and as they look it was the Creator demanding them. He told that everything is done by the fate and his words only angered Abel as he accuse the Creator to favor Yuki despite all the mischief she done to their land. But Yuki protest stating that all her action in the past where scripted by Abel and becomes a character to his greed.

Mirasol happens to witness it and a tears form in her eyes as she regret loving a man who is covered in greediness. Mark saw her emotion and went close to hold her hand assuring that her action is common traits that even a human also encounter. Henry look at them and smile a little as he feels happy about the emotion the two have for each other. He also wanted to confront Yuki but the girl is far from them and many soldier are guarding them with the sword pointed to their neck. The Creator tried to enlightened Abel but all his word fall on his deaf ear as the boy did not listened to him and even accuse the lady of stealing the love he once have. Yuki sympathized with his emotion as she also thought that the Creator abandon her but insisted that what happen to him is his own fault as Abel let his hatred towards her grow.
