Part 15: The Stone of Destiny

Before their adventure, Yuki told Mi Ja about the stone's description she even state the effort she do and Mi Ja ask if the lady looks for some auction since the stone looks like a precious gem and will cost highly even in their land. But Yuki haven't do that since she has no idea on how to enter an auction. To Mi Ja's amazed by a thousand year immortal who never experience a luxury Yuki admit in defeat that it didn't comes to her mind so Mi Ja assured her to do that first. The next day before reaching their destination Mi Ja talk to Yuki in secret about her suspicion to Mirasol but Yuki being a person who forgive reject her idea since she believed that her friend only feels hatred to the guy who she loves but abandon her, but Mi Ja is not convince but decided to let go the theory for the moment.

Mark help Mirasol as they walk and even carried her things so the lady can walk comfortably, Henry focus on handling the horse they received as he put all his things in the cart that it carried while Mi Ja and Yuki walks on their own. Having a feeling of deja vu as he looks around, Henry continue to feel the strange of the place and more dream comes to his mind, Yuki notice it and decided to discuss about the emotion that Henry is experiencing but they reach their destination before she got a courage to speak the truth.

Everyone is surprise when the portal closed swallowing only Mi Ja, as they tried to process the event a guard of the palace came and soon the battle ensue as everyone is busy to fight for their survival. Being a mortal the guys only manage to dodge the attack and hide in the corner letting the girl fight. Henry found his own weapon and decided to join the fight as Mark continue to hide. Mirasol get a useful tools from her bag and it was a flamethrower making an enough smoke to blind them and escape with the others. They run back to the place they left the horse and ride it but the horse cannot handle their weight and they decided to let the guys on its back.

They finally got their chance to escape and look for the place to rest, they ended again in a cave and the weather turns soar as lightning appear with a heavy rain. Everyone looks at Yuki thinking that she do the changes but the lady is also amazed by the unpredictable season. Heavy rains turn to snow and soon they all struggle to cold, Mirasol offer to find woods to fire and Mark accompany her. It was Henry and Yuki who left the place and the girl take initiative to open a conversation. The guy is fascinated by her ability to fight despite being a female and she admit that a years of training is what helps her develop. She even shyly admit her amazement to her own strength as she never got a chance to fight in many before. She tried to explain her real personality to Henry but he is the one who speak first and admit that those things that he experience is enough proof that they were belong on different world, his confession puzzled Yuki until he admit that he missed her. She laugh awkwardly to his confession and Henry explain further that he feels empty for no reason and wanted to see her without knowing why, he said that he feels pain whenever Mark is with her side and wishes to do as his cousin can do but did not understand those emotion. He continue to speak until Yuki bravely admit that he is the person she's been waiting to see, Henry is speechless by her word and so the girl continue to explain that he is the man she's been waiting to reincarnate. A person she mess the fate because of a simple mistake long time ago, the guy ask for further explanation so Yuki told her everything she knows even the puzzled to the event and his doomed fate. It is now Henry who laughs awkwardly but Yuki continue to explain that she falls in love to him before in the immortal world and again when she first saw his first reincarnation but haven't see him again on his 2nd, 3rd and 4th reincarnation. As she continue, Henry started to feel angered towards the girl as she admit that in his current lifetime he is destined to died horribly as she predicted and will continue to reincarnate and died in misery, by this the guy storm out of the cave despite the cold of surrounding as Yuki tried to stop him he look at her and assured that he will comeback but needs to process everything she said.

On the other hand Mirasol and Mark tried to look for a woods, the guy only fails every time he tried to help much to the lady's annoyance. She drop the stick she carried and shout at him to be quiet but being used to her personality he only tease her until Mirasol resigned on her situation. As they walk Mark encourage her to find joy in their surrounding and the girl only mocks him to his idea as she stated that the place is no longer the happy land as before. As she said it a snow throw at her and Mark just laugh at her surprise emotion, she tried to take revenge by what he did and also throw a bigger snow to the guy and with force buried his face to the ground much to his shocked. Upon seeing the face of the guy Mirasol can't help but laugh her heart out to his snow covered face and Mark embarrassingly smile while cleaning his face. Their awkward situation tuns into laugh as they play in the snow like a child. It's almost dark when they returned  back to the cave and still laughing at their silly antic. They notice Yuki alone in the dark and wonders about Henry whereabouts but the girl continue to be silent so Mark decided to look outside despite Mirasol's disagreement. It was the immortals who left alone and Yuki started to speak, she told her friend about her and Henry's conversation and Mirasol can't hide her happiness to know that Henry is her friend Hanoi's reincarnation but her bubble burst immediately when she is confused by his unfamiliar face in which Yuki has no answer of. Mirasol continue to find theory to the event and event point to Yuki's new face as well but the girl reject the idea as her is a different case. Having gone for so long, Mirasol feels unease and decided to follow Marl outside to look for Henry.

The place is dark and every thing is covered in snow but being in the immortal world Mirasol can't feel cold and wondered how much coldness does Mark can feel as she did not see him shivered while playing awhile ago. She heard a noise and decided to look for the location of it, she walks toward it but a hand grab her mouth and force the lady to hide. It was Henry and he ask why she is in the place, Mark is also with them as he told that they were the guys who attacked them before. The trio decided to leave undetected by the guard who still having a fun in front of the fire.

They went back to the cave safety and Yuki notice Mirasol's frightened expression but it was Mark who told her that a guard is nearby so Yuki immediately turn their fire off and decided to go in the deepened area of the cave to avoid being seen. Mark is mesmerized by the beauty of the cave and Yuki explained that she found it by accident, the place doesn't have a snow and has its own ecosystem because of the own light the cave have together with other animals inside. They look around and Mirasol even amazed by the warm of the cave have and look around to see a lake in the middle. They decided to stay inside and the boys tried to hunt the fish with no avail and everyone laugh to the situation. They almost forgot the danger they are in and instead make the moment fun for them, they finally settled to eat and Mark help Mirasol with the food in which the lady did not reject. Henry gave a fish to Yuki and she accept in shyly, the awkward tension between them is visible that Mirasol and Mark see and decided to leave the two for talk. They walk around the cave and appreciate the beauty of it, as they walk a space between them decreased and soon their fingers interlock to which the girl did not reject. Mark smile in satisfaction to his move, they sit nearby the lake and tried to have a conversation. Mirasol ask about his life and Mark humbly tell his story that Mirasol feels fun to listen to, she acknowledge the purity of his personality and Mark shyly smile to her with his face close to one another. He tried to kiss the girl as his lips slowly approach but Mirasol stop him as she tell her own story. She admits that she feels bad for hurting Yuki as she knows that harsh word is lethal to her because Yuki can feel the physical pain by those words, Mark realized that those are the reason of her collapse and she even stated that no science can cure her to it he feels helpless to his friend as she continue to suffer alone.

Henry apologized to Yuki and his words help her to lessen the pain she feels in her chest, the boy told her that he really went out to breath and realized that like his destiny Yuki also sacrifice more since she can't die and continue to witness her love one died. He appreciate her and even feels sorry to realized that she do a lot to give his past reincarnation a good life. His concern is visible to her and laugh it off but Henry is sincere to his words. He even started to believe her words as more dreams flooded on him and believe it to be a memory of the past. They both puzzled by his experience but Henry saw it as opportunity to know Yuki more as the lady is so secretive about her identity. Yuki notice that the piece of her stone glow and happy to her a news about Mi Ja who she embarrassingly admit to be forgotten of. Mi Ja told her that no stone can be found in auction and tried to see the history of the place that Yuki mentioned her about the location. Upon seen the description of the stone, Henry surprised them when he admit that knows about the item they were searching for, he told them that his family has a heirloom of the said stone and Yuki looks at him speechless.
