Part 12: Tangled Destiny

After staying for 500 years in the River of Fire, Beauty found herself in the land of Human and decided to look for Fate for assistant but instead was captive and sold as a slave. She is sold to the household of Kim's Family and there experience tortured by the hands of other slave.

But her faith change when she meets the eldest son of the House, Kim Byung Ho who is the reincarnation of the person she's indebted to, soon she can't help but fall in love to the guy but due to their status the love story is not allowed and the master married a person in his same status. After the first heart break soon Yuki started to feel the real pain of stabbing that so severe as she almost faint because of it. This is the reason she decided to close her heart to the world and focus only on the promised she made for the Kim's Generation, she becomes numb and did not make any friend in her different timeline. The people she encountered even called her ice princess because of her personality. But that persona did not last when she becomes Maya and meet Mark who always annoys her but their friendship deepens as she started to make a real friend again. Mark help Yuki feel the warm that she once forgotten and sometimes messing with each other brings her back to the times when she is sweet innocent creature in their mystic real who is adored by many.

Yuki remembered the scent that always hooks her up whenever she see Henry and realized that it was the same scent that Byung Ho has, as this realization Yuki is surprise to know that the guy in front of her is the man she's been waiting for but is puzzled to his appearance. She wanted to ask Mirasol about her findings but remembered that they had fight and their argumentation is a serious issue that concern to their destiny. She resist the temptation of calling her but sooner make a dial to her phone. Mirasol didn't answered it and it is the last straw of patience that Yuki has.

The next day, everyone is ready for their activities and Yuki found herself being partner to Henry as no one is dared to have team with him due to his evil role and being perfectionist is hard for them to handle. It is not only his perfection is the issue as Yuki found that her partner has s competitive spirit that almost push her limit to win the game, making Yuki irritated as she has no interest in everything around him and only do things as Mark insist. The guy knows her lack of interest in everything and even the chairman teach him the method of gaining her attention. But Mark strategy only annoys Yuki making their team lost in every game and earning a scolding look to her partner.

That night Yuki separate herself from others as she decided to have her own peace but Mark saw her and follow to the lady's irritation but let him to stay. She decided not to tell her friend about her findings to her goal as she still concern on the stone more than others. But knowing she will vanished one day, Yuki started to feel afraid specially because she started to enjoy her life and want to stay to her friends until they died. She didn't even mention about the argumentation that she and Mirasol had since she feels that Mark has a feeling to her friend but being not an ordinary person makes Yuki sad for the fate of her new friend.

Mark said that he knows someone is bothering her and correctly guess that it was Mirasol but Yuki stays silent so Mark told her that the chairman told him about the history they have and the relation that the two immortals has. By this he openly told her about his emotion to the lady and Yuki look at him with sad expression but Mark explain that his love will only be in vain as the lady is in love with other man and again correctly guess that Abel is like them who also came form the other world. Yuki is bewilder by his knowledge and the expression she shows is messed by Mark and soon the two friend tease each other and everyone saw their playful antics.

Henry witness their conversation and intrigue to their talk as he found things unworldly but his expression show that he believed to the knowledge he heard. Soon he approach Yuki and the lady is surprise by his question, her silent answered his question and Yuki ask him about believing things that is hard to explain and the guy tell her a story about the girl he met and the place full of things that is hard to believe. He even told her about his resentful he said to the girl whom he can't see the face clearly, he believe it to be dream and Yuki silently agreed to his believe.

The night comes and every is getting ready for their returned the next morning, the team building that is supposed to be a 2 days turn into 3 due to a bad weather they encountered and knowing the reason Mark continue to tease a lady who is already shown her irritation to no avail.

Everyone is sleeping and Yuki went to a balcony to get some fresh air, she thinks of the story that Henry told earlier and is puzzled by the memory he has and new face he's in. She laugh at herself for not knowing that the guy he waits is already been reincarnated.

The next day, the work ended as usual and Yuki went to the chairman's house and found Mi Ja in the living room who is preparing for the shareholders about Abel's enter to the board. Yuki went to the chairman and when she went there an omen surprise her knowing that the chairman will soon died. It invites her over his table and Yuki tried not to show the devastating news since having this ability only adds pain to her but being a great observant the chairman knows what's on her mind, he even jokes that he wanted to have good rest before taking a long journey.

Yuki spend her rest day at home and it is new to her parent because since she got accident they notice a huge changes in her personality. They feel that it was not their daughter who came back and Yuki just silently agreed to them since she knows that Maya already been reincarnated. Spending the whole day, Yuki take the opportunity to bond with Maya's parent and experience the happiness to have a family. She feels the warm and is glad to know that they were happy despite being in poverty and understand why Maya is so devoted to them. She promised to make their generation boastful and wanted make it happen despite knowing that she will vanish someday. Yuki spend her rest day nicely because after the bonding she becomes closed to them, she even glad to see that they were enjoying their new fortune and even the jobs given by the company of Chairman Kim. The luxury that is given to them were used nicely that they even climb up to the status and doesn't rely too much to their daughter.

Yuki went to her office the next day and spend her time alone when it is lunch, as per usual antics Mark mess a round but the lady already used to his silliness. She wonders about the reincarnation of Hanoi and why he wears a different face and even dreaming about his past. She sunk deep to her thought that did not even realized that Mark is staring at her in a close proximity and fall down on a bench because of surprise. Mark tease her because of her shocked expression but Yuki just stay silent making the guy feel awkward. The work done and everyone is preparing to leave, Mark wanted to have a chat with  Yuki but Henry called the lady first and request to finished some work making the girl stay to work. Mark went to Henry's room and accused him of abusing his new position by making Yuki work overtime but Henry insist that the report should be done for tomorrow's meeting. The explanation fell in vain as Mark did not take it, so Henry tease Mark on having a crush to a girl in which he flatly denied. Hearing it is makes Henry shyly smile without even recognizing the reason.

Mark stay on his room making Henry uncomfortable, he even ordered him for dinner in which he follow after some argumentation. The exchange can be seen in Yuki's place and she giggle in their childish antics. Yuki submit her report and before she leaves the guy invite her for dinner in which she agreed, she notice their exchange of word and note the closeness they are making the boys admit that they start to spend time with each other when she was away and it is a happy news to the lady. They ask her vacation but she did not discuss it and the boys respect her decision but the look on her face says otherwise and Mark did not push the subject more.

The following day, Yuki found from Mi Ja that Abel is gathering votes so she decided to confronts him about it and told the guy that she knew about his identity, she boldly ask him his intention and Abel being confident as he was told her his real intention of replacing the Creator and rule their land he even promised Yuki to send them both back to their land but Yuki is not interested so the guy directly ask her about the location of the stone but she still haven't figure out its place. The confrontation continue that the place around them shake and the light continue to on and off as both stared at each other.

A voice stop stop them and Yuki is surprise to see Mirasol, she is there to tell Yuki a bad news of the Chairman's passing.
