One day Logan decided to read outside of his room, in the living room to be exact. Logan grabbed his favourite book and left his room. He got to the couch and sat down, lying down with a blanket. He begins to re-read the book. About ten minutes later he hears some footsteps coming towards the living room. Virgil appears, not acting like himself. He doesn't have his phone on him and he wobbles when he walks. Logan knows he is more sleep-deprived than normal.

"Virgil, you alright?"
"Huh?"
"Are you okay?"
"When am I ever okay?"

Virgil doesn't make a coffee but he does walk over to the couch and sit beside Logan.
"I want attentionnnnnnn"
"Virgil, I'm reading"
"Sooooooooooooooo?"
"How will I give you attention when I'm reading?"
"I don't know but you're smarttttttttttt"
"Virgil you need some coffee desperately"
"Noooooooooo I don't"
Logan had no idea what to do in this situation. He has Virgil who is more sleep-deprived than normal who won't drink coffee. When Logan reads he gives the book his undivided attention but since Virgil wants attention he won't be able to focus. Virgil snaps Logan out of his thoughts by lying down on him.
"cuddle with me"
"What is wrong with you?"
"cuddle with me"
"Virgil..."
"What?"
"You know that I love to read and I can't give you attention AND focus on my book"
"Aww come onnnnnnnn"
"Virge..."

Logan couldn't say no to Virgil's adorable face(even though they have the same face). Logan puts down his book and wraps his arms around Virgil. Virgil starts to blush but burrows into Logan's chest to hide it. Logan combs his hand through Virgil's hair and Virgil purrs quietly.

"Did you just purr?"
"I'm basically a cattttt"
"You aren't wrong about that"
"I know I'm not"
"You've only made one mistake before"
"Oh shut up"
"I want to watch something Logannnnnnnnnnn"
"What do you want to watch?"
"Somethingggg"
"Our Planet it is"

Logan turns on Our Planet and Virgil nestled into Logan's chest more. Logan didn't pay attention to the show though. He paid attention to Virgil who is watching the show full of curiosity. Logan thought it was adorable.

"So would you like to talk about why you're so sleep-deprived?"
"Huh?"
Logan pauses the show.
"Would you like to talk about why you are so sleep-deprived?"
"Oh-kay"
"So?"
"I was scrolling Tumblr(A/N Honestly same)"

Logan knew that wasn't the case but he wasn't going to push it since Virgil would give the same answer. Logan kissed Virgil's forehead and they both blushed. Logan didn't want to admit it but he was starting to catch feelings for Virgil. He combed his hand threw Virgil's hair and Virgil once again purred.

"God you're adorable"
"Nooooooooo"
"Look you need sleep"
"No, I don't"
"Yes you do"

Logan gets an idea to help put Virgil to sleep.

"Would you like some Water Virge?"
"Yes please"

Logan gets up and pours a glass of water. Before he goes back he puts some melatonin in the water to make Virgil drowsy. Logan walks back and Virgil chugs the glass and Logan watches in shock. Logan takes the glass and puts it in the kitchen. He goes back to Virgil and sits back down. Virgil lies back down on Logan.

"ya know even though I stress about a whole bunch of things, I don't stress around you"
"well Virgil, that's nice to hear"

Logan notices that Virgil's eyes are starting to droop. Logan smirks in his victory.

"Hey Virgil, did you know that The name for the shape of Pringles is called a 'Hyperbolic Paraboloid'?"
"Really?"
"Yeah! And People can suffer from a psychological disorder called Boanthropy that makes them believe that they are a cow"
"That's really... cool..."
"And and Snails have 14,000 teeth and some can even kill you!"
"that's... interesting..."
"and another cool fact is The human nose can remember 50,000 different scents"
"Wow..."
"AND Daddy longlegs have penises, which technically makes them not a spider"
"That is weird and disgusting...."

Virgil's eyes start to droop even more. Logan knows what to do now.

"Tigers have striped skin not just striped fur. The stripes are like fingerprints and no two tigers have the same pattern"
"Wowie..."
"Also Cards against Humanity bought an island in Maine to preserve wildlife. It is called Hawaii 2"
"That... Is... super... cool..."
"And Alligators will give manatees the right of way if they are swimming near each other"

No response. Logan looks at Virgil's eyes and see they are shut. A small snore escapes Virgil's lips and Logan blushes at the adorable sound that just came out of Virgil. Logan wanted to get up but realized that he would most likely wake him up. Thirty minutes later Roman and Patton walk in. Logan doesn't look up from the book he is reading.

"Are we interrupting something?"
"MY SHADOWY CHILD IS ASLEEP ON LOGAN! AAAH!"

Logan looks up from his book to see Patton as happy as a kid in a toy store and Roman with his phone out.

"I'll fill you guys in."

Roman and Patton nod and walk over to the couch and sit down. Logan fills them in and when he finishes Roman chuckles.

"Well you two are adorable"
"I agree with Roman!"
"you two are getting ahead of yourselves"
"How did you get Panic At The Everywhere asleep?"
"I got him a glass of water and put some melatonin in it"
"Well at least Virgil is getting the rest he needs"

Logan looks at Virgil is who is sleeping peacefully on his chest.

"Well, I'm not moving anytime soon. What's for dinner?"
"I'll make it"
"I'll help you Patton"
"Wait, what's for dinner?!"
"We'll figure it out"

Patton and Roman stand up and make their way to the kitchen.

19 hours later(3:00 PM)
Logan hasn't moved for 19 hours because of Virgil. Luckily Patton and Roman kept him company. They were in a game of 20 questions when Logan feels Virgil shift on his chest.

"Mhhhhh"
"And the cat is awake"

Virgil slowly opens his eyes and when he realizes where he is, he scrambles to sit normally.

"It looked like you were enjoying sleeping on Logan's chest Virgil"
"I! I didn't enjoy it"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, I'm sure Princey!"
"Are you lying?"

Roman looks at Virgil and Virgil looks away.

"How did I end up here?"
"simple, you came out here and I was reading. You begged for attention and for some reason I gave in"
"and you seemed pretty desperate"
"Roman, this is my story to tell. Not yours"

Virgil puts his hood up and looks down. Logan chuckles and wraps him in a hug.

"It's fine Virgil"
"How'd you get me to sleep?"
"Again, it's pretty simple. I put some melatonin in your water that you chugged"
"I hate you so much"
"well you got some much-needed rest"

Logan releases Virgil who just put his head on Logan's shoulder. The rest of the day was the sides just fooling around.

A/N This is a decent chapter. I actually really like this one. Shout out to the girl who is going as Logan for Halloween with me and two other friends for the prompt. Also, all the facts Logan listed to make Virgil fall asleep are all real facts!
