Emile sat down and sighed. He waited for his next patient to come.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door. Emile jumped and opened the door.

"Do you how do Logan?"
"Salutations Emile. I would like you to know that we're fully booked for the next week"

Emile dropped his smile and sighed.

"Really?"
"Yes. In fact we may be overbooked"
"Logan you know I've been trying to do less work because it's hurting my mental health"
"Would you like to cancel appointments?"
"No!"
"Why not? That would be beneficial to both you and the patient"

Emile sat down in his seat and began fiddling with his thumbs.

"I want to make sure my patients are okay Logan... even if that means hurting my mental health."
"That's not a smart idea, Emile. You could seriously hurt your well-being"
"So? There are people who can't get a therapist but need someone to talk to! I want to be there for them!"

Logan went silent. He stayed silent for a few seconds and nodded.

"Would you like to extend office hours?"
"We're now open from six am until eleven thirty pm."
"Emile that's way too long to be at work for"
"Too bad. That's our new hours until everyone is satisfied"
"My brother Roman really likes theatre and he watches Hamilton a lot. One of the songs is Satisfied. The last two lines of the song are 'He will never be satisfied, I will never be satisfied."
(happytoitleboi are you proud?)"
"What are you trying to get at Logan?"

Logan took a deep breath and looked at Emile.

"All your patients won't be satisfied. Everyone will need more therapy and when one person is good another person will need help. You want to always be there for everyone but you can't. You need to take some time for yourself."

Emile sighed and looked at Logan.

"Logan I want to help people. Helping people is in my blood! You can't just tell me I can't help people when it's my nature to. We're going o be open form six until eleven understand?"
"Okay fine"

And with that Emile's door closed and Logan walked away. He walked out and sat at his desk.

"You okay Lo?"
"No I'm not Janus"

Logan's best friend Janus sat beside him. Logan put his head into his hands and sighed.

"What's wrong Logan?"
"Long story short we're all booked for the next week or so and now Emile want to extend office hours until Six am until Eleven PM every day until all his patients are 'satisfied'," Logan said with waif quotes for the satisfied.

Janus sighed and held Logan close. Logan leaned onto Janus and shut his eyes.

"I just want to help Emile some way. He shouldn't have to do this himself."
"Is there anyway you can help him?"
"Not that I know of," Logan mumbled, clearly upset about it.

No matter what Emile said Logan would always want true best for his coworker. Even if it means taking risks to help him. Sometimes Emile can be extremely stubborn so that's when Logan's job gets a bit hard. When Emile is stubborn it takes time to help him but Logan always does it eventually. Let's hope he can do it this time.

One week later~
Logan walked to Emile's office and saw Emile passed out at his desk.

"He fell asleep at work," he mumbled under his breath as he ran to Emile and shook him awake.

When Logan started to shake him Emile jolted awake and his glasses fell off. Logan grabbed his glasses and handed them to Emile.

"Thanks Logan-"
"Emile. This is very unhealthy. You've seen over fifty people this week. You need to take a break"
"But I can't! Elliot is starting to get more instructive thoughts, Margret and Jeffery are starting to fight-"
"Emile. You can't help others if you can't help yourself. You need to take a break... for your patients sake"
"I can't!"
"Your patients would get more stressed if you told them you're straining your mental health to help them. They would think they would be making your life worse and feel horrible about it. We don't want that do we?"
