It was a normal day in the mind palace. Thomas was at home so Virgil had no complaints. Virgil was in his room listening to MCR(A/N honestly same) so Virgil had nothing to worry about.

"Hey, kiddo! Lunch is ready"
"Coming-"

And he was gone. Patton never loved to be in Virgil's room because he hated spiders. He stood up and made his way to the kitchen.

"Why hello Virgil. Are you joining us for lunch?"
"Hey L. Yeah I am"

Virgil sits down beside Patton who wraps him in a hug.

"Hey, Patton. I'm joining you for lunch."
"Yay!"

Virgil chuckles and gets out of the hug. Thomas sits down.

"Haha, you two look adorable"
"Thomas I swear to god"
"What? I'm telling the truth"
"Why??"
"Anyways, what's for lunch"

Virgil's face turned red. Patton released Virgil from his grip.

"Now Virgil," Patton says
"Yeah?"
"Will, you at least eat?"
"Maybe. I'm not hungry"
"Virgil! You can die"
"And I never asked to be here"
"If you keep talking like that I will physically fight you!"
"Go ahead, fight me"

Patton looks down and shuts his mouth. Everyone looks at Virgil.

"I'm going to go-"
"No, you aren't. You are doing to stay here and eat."
"Thomas-"
"I'm actually on Thomas's side. You need to eat"
"You don't mean it Roman"
"Yes, I do!"

Virgil stands up and starts to walk away when someone grabs his wrist. He turns around to see Patton on the brink of tears.

"Please eat. I don't want you to die"
"Dad..."
"Virgil. Please"

Virgil sighs and sits back down.

"Fine. I'm only doing it for you"
"Why only me?"
"Because... never mind. It doesn't matter"

Patton puts his arms around Virgil and Virgil relaxes. He mutters 'thanks dad' and Patton smiled. While this was happening Roman was taking photos of the two traits. Logan smiled at the sight of Virgil relaxing in Patton's arms.

"Dad, can we eat now?
"Yeah. Sorry kiddo"
"It's... it's fine"

Patton released Virgil from his arms. Virgil rested his head on Patton's right shoulder. Even though he was sure his face was bright red he felt at ease.

Roman noticed Virgil's blush and he had to use all of his strength not to squeal. Thomas has never seen Virgil this way.

"Alrighty everyone can eat"

Everyone takes the food on the table. Virgil lifts his head of Patton's shoulder and stands up. He heads to the kitchen and makes himself a protein shake(A/N I don't eat much so I have protein shakes). He walks back over to the table and sits down.

"So why do you have a protein shake instead of having actual food?"
"I don't know Logan. I don't really like to eat but I'm able to drink a protein shake. I really don't know"
"Well you should have solid food every once and a while"
"I know!"

Virgil puts his protein shake down and puts his head back on Patton's shoulders. Patton doesn't really like it when Virgil doesn't eat solid food but it's better than nothing.

"Hey, kiddo? Can we talk after you finish your protein shake?"
"Yeah sure. About what?"
"Alright. Come to my room" Patton stands up and leaves.
"Do any of you know what he wants to talk about?"
"Sorry, Virg. I don't know"
"I'll go talk to him"
