Slow motion...everything. the world had just stopped spinning. everything and everyone around me became invisible.
"Life is unpredictable..." I whisper.
It was cold and damp in the hospital everything was going slow. like I said before, slow motion...everything.
My lips quivered and my stomach churned and tied in knots.
"Luke" I call out but no response. suddenly everyone was gone and I was just in a white box or that's what it felt like.
No one was with me.
No one was in sight.
All I could see in my breath crystallise in the air.
All I could hear was my heartbeat.
All I could smell was the dampness radiating from the walls.
All I could taste was the dryness of my mouth.
All I could touch was my quivering body.
"Emilee there's something wrong..." the nurse said.
That was all I could think about.
