Ch.5: A Troll and a Snape

3rd POV
Harry had gone with the Quidditch captain early in the morning. We see a familiar red haired boy who is sleeping on his bed snoring. At the library we see Y/n sipping tea as he reads a book about mythical creatures

"Oh hello Y/n didn't think I'd see you here" says Hermione as she takes a seat across from Y/n with three books by her side

"Good morning" Y/n replies turning a page and takes a sip of his tea

"What're reading there?" She asks opening her book

"Dino's Mythical Entries" he replies

"Oh anything interesting?"

"Not really but this entry on a Basilisk is really a page turner" Y/n says as he looks up to Hermione who is reading a book while moving her lips. "What about you?"

"Just a book about potions. Professor Snape is a strict teacher. Wanna make sure I'm ready for what he has" Hermione says turning a page

"Guess you're right" Y/n says leaning back on his chair and sighs

"Something wrong?" Hermione asks looking up

"Hmh? Oh nothing just can't get my mind out of why that Cerberus was in that room"

"I'd say just forget about it. It will save everyone the trouble"

"Yeah guess you're right"

After their conversation, they left and headed of to Professor Flitwick's class which was charms. Into the class Y/n took a seat with Ron to his right and Hermione to his left and Harry to the right of Ron. Professor Flitwick is a short teacher with a bushy mustache. He stood on a stack of books on a chair in the middle of the room

"One of a wizard's most rudimentary skills is levitation the ability to make objects fly" he says looking around the class. "Uh, do you all have your feathers?" He asks and Hermione raises her's. "Good. Now, uh, don't forget the nice wrist movement we've been practicing, hmm? The swish and flick. Everyone" He asks as he all do the motion. "The swish and flick. Good. And enunciate. Wingardium Leviosa. Off you go then.

"Wingardium Leviosa" Y/n enunciates using the swish and flick causing the feather to levitate

Others in the class turn to him as he moves the feather around

"Wingarium Leviosar" Ron says wacking his wand down

"Stop, stop, stop. You're going to take someone's eye out. Besides, youre saying it wrong. It's Leviosa, not Leviosar" Hermione says to Ron who looks annoyed at her

"If you're so clever then you do it" Ron says handing her the feather

She pulls her robe sleeves down and enunciates the spell and lifts the feather causing Ron to put his head down and me to laugh

"Excellent display Mr L/n and Ms Granger" Flitwick says praising the two students

Class had ended and everyone had gone their separate ways. Y/n was walking with the two boys, unbeknownst to them that Hermione was close behind

"It's Leviosa, not Leviosar. Honestly, she's a nightmare. No wonder she hasn't got any friends!" Ron says as he gets brushed and shoved by Hermione who sniffles as she walks away

"I think she heard you" Harry says

"Is that all you're good for Weasley? Talking behind people back" Y/n says as Ron looks away

It was night time and the students were celebrating Halloween in the Great Hall. Y/n sat at the Slytherin table facing the Gryffindor table where he was talking to Neville
