Ch.27: Moody Swings

After being questioned for endless hours by the Ministry, the group was acquitted and lett go. Then came the day that school was about to begin and everyone was on their way to the Hogwarts Express

"How're Ray and Jade?" Asked Harry who lead the four down the crowded hall

"They've been good. Haven't seen much all summer though" Y/n responded while waving a Neville who first greeted him

"Why's that?" Hermione asked as the four reached an empty compartment

"They've been working at the Ministry. Starting they first jobs in the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes"

"Sounds like job right up their alley" Ron nodded as he put his trunk on top of the shelf

"Anything off the trolley dears?" Asked the woman with the snack trolley

"I'll take a pack of Droobles and a licorice wand and..." Ron paused after he reached in his pocket. "On second thought just the Droobles"

"Its alright I'll pay for it" Y/n said standing up

"Just the Droobles" Ron said sternly to the lady

"Ok then" Y/n muttered as Ron sat down. "I'll take a pack of Sherbert Lemons and some Jelly Slugs. Anything for you guys?" He turned to Harry and Hermione

"A chocolate frog please" Hermione smiled

Harry got up and joined Y/n. He stopped when a girl around their age walked up to the lady

"One Pumpkin Pastrie please" the brunette smiled as she looked at Harry who stared in awe

"Something sweet for you dear?" The lady asked Harry who snapped back to her

"What? Uh no I'm not hungry" Harry said as he sat down

"Honestly a friend offers you to pay for your snacks and you don't even budge" Y/n muttered as he paid for his and Hermione's candy

The three Gryffindors began to eat their snacks. Y/n sat there about to join them when suddenly he winced in pain and grabbed his arm

"This is bad very bad" Hermione getting the attention of the three. "It's hurting again, isn't it?  It was hurting that morning too. The day of the World Cup and after when the DeathEaters attacked"

"Its fine" Y/n brushed off

"Suit yourself. But just try not to hold it in so much like you did last year" Ron advised getting a nod from Y/n

A few hours had passed and Y/n had began to tell the others of the dream he had. The others began to worry. Harry also shared that he to has a dream similar to Y/n's and they both sent an owl to Sirius as advised by Hermione. The train arrived hours later. The students all entered the Great Hall and the new student assortment had ended when Dumbledore walked to the center stage

"Mr. Filch, our beloved caretaker, has informed me that the list of objects forbidden within the  castle now includes Screaming Yo-Yos, Fanged Frisbees, Ever-Bashing Boomerangs and Chocolate Marshmallow Bunnies" Dumbledore laughed. "I'm Joking about that last one. The full list comprises some four hundred and thrity-seven items and may be viewed in Mr. Filch's office"

"Mental. Always has been" Ron muttered

"Now. There is, apparently, a rather nasty rumor flying about the school that Quidditch will not be played this year. That rumor, I'm here to tell you ... is absolutely true" the hall gasps and talk amongst themselves. "There is an explanation. You see Hogwarts will play host to a legendary event. An event that hasn't taken place in over one hundred years. The Triwizard Tournament"
