Remus was getting ready to go stay with James, when his letter came. He opened it, not expecting what stood in the letter.
Dear Mr. Lupin
We´re pleased to inform you, that you´ve been chosen as the Gryffindor 5th year prefect. Your badge will be found in the envelope along with the usual list of your needed school supplies. As prefect, you can take points from your fellow students, but you can´t take points from your fellow prefects. You are asked to join the others in the prefect carriage, where this year’s head boy and head girl will inform you of your prefect duties. The other 5th year Gryffindor is Miss. Evans.

Remus was startled, he didn´t think he´d ever get anything like this, because of his werewolf problem. Remus couldn´t move at first, then he remembered that he had to get to James´. The very same second he walked in the door, he was hug-attacked by his two friends, James and Sirius. Remus couldn´t help but laugh at his two friends. “So Moony” Sirius asked “Anything new happening” Remus grinned: “Not much Padfoot, I´ve been made prefect but that’s that”. Sirius and James burst out laughing. Between Sirius´ laughing, he said, Dumbledore probably thought you could keep us in check by making you prefect.
Remus shook his head, faking to be serious, “Since when have I been able to keep you in check”. Sirius merely laughed. “Lily´s been made prefect as well”. That made James stop laughing. Sirius groaned, “Two teachers pet in Gryffindor. James didn’t laugh. Sirius noticed and said, “Ah well Prongsy, then your luck with Evans won´t improve much this year”. “I don’t care about Evans”, James moaned. “Sure, you do, doesn’t matter, she won´t fall for you, as long as Snivellus, is whispering in her ear about how awful you are. Remus knew, James liked Lily, but didn’t want to talk about her, therefore he decided to change conversation. “Have anybody heard from Wormtail” James nodded, knowing what his friend were doing. “He´s meeting us on the train. Couldn’t come this year”
James, Sirius and Remus talked and planned mischievous things, before going to bed.
